March 15, 201213 yr Worst Eurovision song I've heard for years. There are loads of songs each year that I don't have any opinion of, but I genuinely despise this. It's awful.
March 16, 201213 yr With Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia ALL in the Semi 2, it doesn't stand a CHANCE for points indeed. Oops. I just hope Iris and Valentina will have good songs to make up for the fact Semi 1 already has this monstrosity, Jedward and 'Beautiful Song'. :drama:

I just hope Iris and Valentina will have good songs to make up for the fact Semi 1 already has this monstrosity, Jedward and 'Beautiful Song'. :drama: Why would it have to make up for Beautiful Song? Honestly I really really really really don't know why people hate that song so much. The chorus is insanely catchy and it's always popping into my head.
March 16, 201213 yr Author With Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia ALL in the Semi 2, it doesn't stand a CHANCE for points indeed. Oops. Are you implying that this steaming turd will get votes just because it has neighbours in the semi? Hopefully the juries will see dampen any poor taste televoting and it will get the nul points that it so richly deserves! I understand that countries often vote for their neighbours' entries based on cultural similarities, acts being big stars in other nations etc...but what cultural similarity would link Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia to this crap, the music sounds more bhangra than Balkan. It pains me to say it but it's probably most likely to pick up points from the UK voters, I can imagine it being presented on stage as a novelty song and it might get a tongue in cheek vote from us, the country with no taste when it comes to voting. Slightly unrelated but I was thinking about the 'political/neighbourly voting' vs 'cultural similarities' argument earlier and wondered what would happen if Sweden decided to send an ethnic Eastern sounding ballad. Would Scandinavia still support it in their droves? Would it pick up more from the Balkans? The only case I could particularly think of was when Bosnia-Herzegovina sent Call Me in 2005, straight up ABBA pastiche schlager, from the last country you'd expect to dabble in such a genre. And as it happened, it did pick up some neighbourly votes (probably because the band were famous in Croatia etc...so got the points on fame alone) but also got a lot of support from Scandinavia and the UK, traditional lovers of this type of music who otherwise rarely vote for Bosnia-Herzegovina!
March 16, 201213 yr If Montenegro got inside of the public vote's Top 3 of, say, Serbia (which would so happen if they were in the same Semi, regardless of the fact that 'Euro Neuro' is awful), it'd be guaranteed at least 1-2 points overall, even if the jury decided to ignore it completely.

Hopefully that won't happen. I know the Balkans are very loyal to each other but it would be ridiculous of any country to give this as many as 8 points. Ireland and the UK always exchange usually big points too but not in the cases of Jemini/Dervish, because they were so terminally crap and not worthy of any support. So hopefully this will be the case with Serbia and Euro Neuro :D
March 16, 201213 yr Author There won't be any case as Serbia and Montenegro are in the separate Semis. So they are! I got confused because of your earlier 'With Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia ALL in the Semi 2, it doesn't stand a CHANCE for points indeed' comment :drama: Hopefully Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will ignore it.
March 16, 201213 yr I meant it doesn't stand a chance for ANY points, because ALL of the Balkan countries are in the other Semi, so there won't be any diaspora or Balkan vote!
March 16, 201213 yr Author I meant it doesn't stand a chance for ANY points, because ALL of the Balkan countries are in the other Semi, so there won't be any diaspora or Balkan vote! Oh yes, I thought you were being sarcastic at first, I should have checked the make up of the semis before replying  But I re-iterate what I said earlier, it MAY not get nul points, it's the sort of $hit that I could imagine the UK televoters finding 'hilarious' enough to vote for.
March 16, 201213 yr Aren't we voting in the other semi final too? Looks like Montenegro could well be heading for a nul points. It really couldn't be in a more unfriendly semi. Only Albania may vote for it. For the record, it isn't too bad. It's certainly not good, but it isn't offensively horrible like Georgia (and it's a little more interesting and catchy  )
March 16, 201213 yr Aren't we voting in the other semi final too? Nah, no country votes in both Semifinals.
March 16, 201213 yr Nah, no country votes in both Semifinals. That wasn't what I meant. I meant UK are voting in semi final 2, so no votes for Montenegro from the novelty lovers. :(
March 16, 201213 yr It wouldn't surprise me if Russia chucked a couple of points into their direction. I have a terrible feeling some juries will support the song. Unless the performance is a total car crash. Although the Semi has enough juries-are-so-going-to-like-them songs, a la Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Moldova, Russia (yes, I do feel Grannies will appeal to the juries!)... so it's way too confusing right now.
March 16, 201213 yr Worst song of 2012 and worst Montenegrin entry for sure. I wish they came back with an entry like their 2009.
