August 7, 200618 yr I think Delta has a far better voice than Mariah. Mariah's voice is horrible, and you can barely make out what she's saying in her songs.

August 9, 200618 yr Well Mariah is the "best" singer in the world cause she has i think 8octaves, and Delta only has 4 (which is still brilliant), but Delta has a voice that you just kinda fall in love with because it's so real i suppose like she doesn't have that fake padding alot of artists get in the studio! But like Rob said, it's Westlife, honestly what do they know?!
August 9, 200618 yr mariah is a freak! lets all have a mental breakdown...ok maybe that is a bit harsh. she rarely sings live and this leads me to believe that her voice is tuned quite a bit to go as high as she does. you can hardly understand her, it is painful to listen to. ok i will stop bagging now because it isnt nice. sorry.... i guess i just love delta :wub:

Personally I think with Delta she has a good voice but it is all about the music with Delta when you buy her albums - amazing songs and her songwriting is what Delta is about. With Mariah it is all about her voice. You buy mariah's music for her voice rather than necessarily the song itself - if this makes any sense :)!!!
August 9, 200618 yr Mariah doesn't take drugs..she had a nervous breakdown..not her fault she was the biggest female singer in the world at one point and that amount of stress destroyed her... mariah has a bigger range voice than delta whoch allows her to sing higher niotes..i prefer delta's voice as i can understand everything she sings. Mariah mimes in the uk and maybe oz as she saves her voice for her main market..the usa...mariahs voice will loose its high standard every year as she sings so much and trys to reach those high notes...another reason not to sing live all the time.
August 9, 200618 yr Author I really agree about buying Delta as it's more about the music. With Mariah (especially lately), you sort of feel it's only about her voice which on her recent records she insists on going WAY over the top with it -_- We had best be careful not to anger her fans :lol:
