The Wanted were never album sellers. More than anything, I think the public liked GYC rather than liking the image of The Wanted whereas 1D has that image appeal.

Today 1D will be starting to record their second album, and tomorrow they will be releasing a music video for More Than This. New video may improve their sale in USA. And according to Max George Chasing the sun will be on their 3rd album. lol, So what's a point to buy their EP, if all of a songs from this album will be, or was on their future/previous album.

8 weeks in the top 10 for the 1D album is mighty impressive. It's prolly onto about 550K now, and I can easily see this selling 2mil by the end of the year - they'll have a tour and a definite perf on X Factor, and God knows what else. Wonder when radio will latch on to "1 thing"?

Its now higher on the hot 100 though and OneD are climbing on radio and Wanted beginning to fall, so I think long run OneD will over take.

1D will sell more, I think it's obvious for everyone, I just wanted to say that we will have to wait few months before 1D will over take Wanted.

I would've thought The Wanted GYC would've sold more than 2.5mil. I thought they'd be over 3mil by now as the song seems to have been around literally all this year!
