Nationaal Songfestival 2012 will start with 3 duels:

1. Joan Franka - You and me -vs- Raffaëla - Chocolatte
2. Kim de Boer - Children of the world -vs- Ivan Peroti - Take me as I am
3. Pearl - We can overcome -vs- Tim Douwsma - Undercover lover

Most of them are clear DNQ, but I would bet on Joan Franka or Tim Douwsma to get Nederland back on the Final.

Ivan! Sounds great from the snippet!

Ivan's song reminds me of 'This Is Me' by Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato.

 

My favourites are Raffaëla and Tim Douwsma.

You And Me is probably my favourite there, although I annoyingly like the song it's up against too! Undercover Lover is also pretty good. I can take of leave the others, apart from Children Of The World which is dire.

 

Winner will be anounced tonight.

Cannae wait for this. I have a feeling Netherlands will be in the final this year :o

'Chocolatte' - Another cheesy one. She's so slutty too. Doesn't stand a chance at Eurovision whatsoever. It's a bit catchy though. But she's horrible live.

Children Of The World was so sweet. I felt like watching a Disney movie.

Ivan is AMAZING. The best song of the selection by far. Too bad he's not winning this duel :(

Woah, I didn't know people that are not from The Netherlands were actually following this.

 

We really threw in our own glasses AGAIN. Rafaella's song was something that could've actually DONE something on Eurovision, the other 5 are mostly crap. I cannot fathom how she was not voted through. Well at least this year we will be standing by our record of not getting through to the final. How long has been now? 9 or 10 years? Good grief.

To be fair I really liked Joan's song but it's just not something that you would send to Eurovision.
