I think that's about as low as he could take Gennaro in a light hearted show like HB.

 

I'd like to see him tackle a real "mess with your head" villain sometime in the future.

Very tall Poppy - They'd to cut off the top of his head in some scenes and Nigel Harman looked like a hobbit in parts of HB.

 

How are they going to get all of him on screen as the Beast with Ruth who's just 5ft 6? Will he have to stand further back or sit down?

It's interesting to see the first season of Secret Circle is give as 19/07/2011 - 12/04/2012

 

If it followed the same for Beauty and the Beast (if it was taken up) he'd have over 3 months to fit in Chicago (about 6-8 weeks) and the single and album. It sounds really tight.

No he wouldn't have 3 months because he can't sign a contract for Chicago before he knows the execs' decision re BatB and the decision is only taken in May. Once greenlit, a shooting schedule would be drawn up.

 

If it isn't, we're looking at June/July at the earliest for Chicago and then the push for the single/album( September/October maybe), provided another great offer doesn't come out of nowhere.

 

 

 

He wont be able to do either if it is taken up and he's filming for 'Beauty and the Beast' If Natasha had to be available for those dates for Secret Circle, Darius could have to be available July to April 2013 as he'd be a lead character. I'd still rather the pilot be taken up though as it'd be what he wants most and just hope the album comes within that time. He'd not have much chance of coming over for publicity but things always work out the way they are supposed to.

I'm surprised to find out that ABC decided to develop Beauty and the Beast way back in September before Once Upon A Time had become a break out hit for them.

 

I'm going to record OUAT although I'm not sure I'll like the switching between the dimensions. I don't normally like shows which have a series of flashbacks.

 

I don't usually mind films/shows which start at one point, flash back, tell a story, and then return to the present.

When's it on, BT? Darius changed when he was intending to release his single in December - maybe that's when auditions started.

It starts over here on Channel 5 this Sunday at 8pm.

 

The first reports saying a casting director had been appointed for BatB came on 30th January. Chris Egan was first to be cast (Feb 22nd) then Darius a couple of days later.

So auditions would have probably started very early in the year. Even if it doesn't get taken up, it's great experience. I'd like it to obviously, as we may get a chance to see it then
