April 28, 201213 yr Author As for BEAUTY & THE BEAST, because of extensive visual effects, it hasn’t been seen in its finished form yet So we're not the only ones still waiting for a preview
April 29, 201213 yr New cast list now on IMDB. Looks like it's in order of appearance - beginning with Grace, Dorian, Garrick, Cyril, Mara - i.e those at the Emperor's court, then the rebels, including Shiro.
May 3, 201213 yr Author One thing that worries me is that BatB is the only pilot uncompleted. That makes it sound expensive. I just hope the delay doesn't put them off taking it up
May 6, 201213 yr Author http://www.tvwise.co.uk/2012/05/abcs-body-...h-season-three/ The latest buzz on the network’s drama pilots is that soaps Devious Maids, Americana and Nashville screened well and are heading towards series orders, while talk of Scruples and Penoza has cooled off. On the action-drama side I’m told Shawn Ryan’s Last Resort has been received well and is looking good for a pickup, talk of Untitled Roland Emmerich/Harold Kloser Project has cooled and I’m told that Zero Hour has fizzled. All three fantasy projects, Beauty & The Beast, 666 Park Avenue and Gotham, are still in contention and it’s unclear which (or how many) will make the cut. I’m also told that Gilded Lilys was received poorly by execs at ABC and as such talk has cooled off.
May 8, 201213 yr Author 666 PARK AVE and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST are yet to be seen, with the latter undergoing massive re-editing. I worry anyway so that's no different

May 8, 201213 yr Author It's not the acting - just the special effects - I just hope they don't let it down. Anything new is difficult the first time but could be well worth the extra work
May 9, 201213 yr Another interview with Ruth Bradley. http://www.cultbox.co.uk/interviews/exclus...beast-interview
May 10, 201213 yr Another interview with Ruth Bradley. http://www.cultbox.co.uk/interviews/exclus...beast-interview HMMM! I didn't get much of a positive vibe from her about BATB. She's not even thought about moving to America, which indicates to me that she doesn't feel the show will get taken to series <_< Just my thoughts on her thoughts you understand, and I'm more often wrong than right
May 10, 201213 yr It's her first US role. She knows the majority of pilots don't get picked up. Chris Egan's pilot last year, Poe, never went to series and this year, Ewan McGregor's first foray into an American pilot, Corrections, for HBO has not made the cut. If BatB does, it's a big bonus for both Darius and Ruth. Waiting is always hard. At least Darius had another project to get on with - his music. He knows what he'll be doing if he's not doing BatB, unlike Ruth.
May 10, 201213 yr Author I like the way that Darius' manager said 'The beast is back' It's still in contention but so are a lot of the others. Great experience either way. They haven't made uptheir minds about 'Secret Circle' either
May 12, 201213 yr All the sites are now saying that Beauty and the Beast (ABC) has dropped out of contention.
May 12, 201213 yr Author CW have put their version on schdule. I saw no mention of ABC BatB either way but it does seem unlikely that bothe networks would have a season of different plots with the same name. With Secret Circle being dropped it doesn't look good at the moment.
