March 8, 201213 yr Just found out that The Girl made the UK iTunes top 1000 last week! Maybe Euphoria really could go top 300 on British hype alone if it was released now :o I reckon BBC4 should start showing Melodifestivalen from next year, I reckon it would be far more popular than they'd expect. Although on second thought I guess that they'd not be able to because it would give an unfair advantage to Sweden at Eurovision in the UK voting.

I downloaded it last week...I guess that had some impact?! I can't imagine a song needing much more than three or four downloads to make the top 1000 would it?! Also...I hope 'Euphoria' doesn't become a 'Satellite' and not be available for download until about three days after the Eurovision (if it qualifies and does well). :manson:
March 8, 201213 yr I downloaded it too *.* I'm sure it takes at least double figures to make the top 1000 though.
March 8, 201213 yr Of all the songs in MF 2012, my top 10 is (well, top 11): 1. Loreen - 'Euphoria' 2. David Lindgren - 'Shout It Out' 3. Danny Saucedo - 'Amazing' 4. Ulrik Munther - 'Soldiers' 5. Timoteij - 'Stormande Hav' 6. Lisa Miskovsky - 'Why Start A Fire?' 7. Bjorn Ranelid/Sara Li - Mirakel 8. Sean Banan - 'Sean den forste Banan' 9. Youngblood - 'Youngblood' 10. Molly Sanden - 'Why Am I Crying?' / Charlotte Perrelli - 'The Girl' Hopefully Loreen will win, I do really like the David Lindgren song also but Euphoria is better and much more suitable for ESC. March 8, 201213 yr Thorsten Flinck's album is out and leaked. I thought everybody will be happy about that since he's so popular on Buzzjack. Edited March 8, 201213 yr by Crotchlickmeoff
March 8, 201213 yr Also...I hope 'Euphoria' doesn't become a 'Satellite' and not be available for download until about three days after the Eurovision (if it qualifies and does well). :manson: I have horrible visions of exactly that happening, it had better not be album only on the compilation (if it wins MF that is!, couldn't give a flying f*ck if Thorsten was left album only ) I downloaded it too *.* I'm sure it takes at least double figures to make the top 1000 though. Pretty sure the weekly level for #1000 is somewhere around a few hundred sales, The Girl showed up for a day so would have definitely got double figures. SMASH! Thorsten Flinck's album is out and leaked. I thought everybody will be happy about that since he's so popular on Buzzjack. Are you downloading it? Let us know if Jag reser mig igen is the highlight! If so it could be a contender for the worst album of all time :o

March 8, 201213 yr I'm like Robot, I'm unable to overplay songs, I get bored of things too easily and quickly if I do that, and I prefer to listen to a huge variety of music than the same songs over and over. However Euphoria's racked up 60 plays so far (my overall most played song of last year was The A Team with 93 plays for comparisons sake) and Mirakel is second on 29, Amazing is third on 20.
March 8, 201213 yr I've just ventured into annoying my neighbours and discovered that I'm perfectly able to fully nail every single note in Amazing. SO CAN YOU DANNY, SO CAN YOU!!! Edited March 8, 201213 yr by MelodiVÜLKivalen

I know, I'm the same! I always have a playlist with my faves at that time and then I listen to it like a loon. Euphoria racked up over 80 plays and I have no idea how as I thought it was on a par with Amazing. For comparison purposes, my top played track last year was The Saturdays' All Fired Up which has 121 plays, so 84 for Loreen is quite massive already. (Satellite has 116 as my top played Eurovision track).
March 8, 201213 yr My play counts in 2009 were a lot more impressive, I must have been listening to a smaller range of music but hammering my favourites more. Release Me and Stay The Night both had over 150 plays and Music Everywhere had 140 odd, but then my iTunes reset and I lost all the data :(

Release Me and Stay The Night both had over 150 plays and Music Everywhere had 140 odd, but then my iTunes reset and I lost all the data :( Last.fm never fails! If you don't have one, you should get one this instant! :) I have Agnes' Release Me on 127, but loses the 2009 title to Sergey Lazarev's Lazerboy (220). Kylie has 255 for All The Lovers and is the queen of 2010. I've always had a weird relationship with Stay The Night. I absolutely love it to bits but it goes in periods. I listen to it massively during some months (like now) and then I reject it and forget about it for a couple more and so on. It currently sits on #41 on my overall chart with 89 plays. Danny's In The Club is my most played Mello track with 95 plays. Watch Loreen teach all of these how it's done!!
March 8, 201213 yr Rehearsals/press conference currently going on in Globen, but Loreen wasn't there because she was having a medical examination. She's ill :drama:

Ditto that. I get bored and start obsessing over something new miles before I over play something. Tone Damli - Look Back is my most played track this year on nearly 120 plays. Why Am I Crying is somewhere around 30 I think and that's my most played MF track.
March 8, 201213 yr I've just ventured into annoying my neighbours and discovered that I'm perfectly able to fully nail every single note in Amazing. SO CAN YOU DANNY, SO CAN YOU!!! Same (well, maybe not note perfect, but I don't think I sound as out of tune as his first performance), and I can do it whilst doing the whole routine (this isn't helping me seem straight in the slightest, I'm aware). So, he better have bloody improved by Saturday, no excuse! :kink: Edited March 8, 201213 yr by ROBOT
March 8, 201213 yr Unrealted to MF but I've nailed Darin's falsetto on Nobody Knows down to a tee too, singing in the car when you're by yourself is the way forward!
March 8, 201213 yr Unrealted to MF but I've nailed Darin's falsetto on Nobody Knows down to a tee too, singing in the car when you're by yourself is the way forward! Ah! We should have our own Melodifestivalen here at Buzzjack! A Buzzjack singing competition, oh my! :kink:
March 8, 201213 yr I'll do David  By the way apparently Bjõrn will be "singing" in English (!) and French (!!) on Saturday though Sarah will stay in Swedish.
March 8, 201213 yr c'est un miracle! Looking forward to the final, I even booked the day off work, largely because I keep missing the first 10-15 mins of the heats because I finish work at 6.30 on Saturday and it takes anything between 20-45 minutes to get home depending on buses. Not missing ANY of the final!
