Posted February 28, 201213 yr We all know about the political situation between Armenia and this year's hosts Azerbaijan. However, well done to Armenian TV who have decided to participate in the contest (for now!). The broadcaster will be making an internal selection, with local band Dorians putting themselves forward to represent Armenia. But last week, 20 Armenian singers signed a petition for the country to pull out of the Azeri-hosted contest. Will Armenia stay in the contest? And if they do can they reach the final after Emmy's failure to do so in 2011? Edited March 7, 201213 yr by Ryan741

March 7, 201213 yr Oh, that's a shame :( Not that I'm overly surprised, I expected them to announce not to participate the minute Azerbaijan won.
March 7, 201213 yr Author It's a shame, but in the back of our minds I think we all expected it to happen :(
March 7, 201213 yr :( What really needed to happen was for Armenia to sending an amazing song so that we could see the look on the Azerbaijani host faces when they had to announce it as the winner.
March 7, 201213 yr :( What really needed to happen was for Armenia to sending an amazing song so that we could see the look on the Azerbaijani host faces when they had to announce it as the winner. THIS! And to be honest, after the absolute DIRGE they sent these past two years I am NOT bothered they decided to sit out on this one. -_-
