I seriously hated just about everything I heard from her (bar 'New York' which was nice) so I haven't heard her first album. However, out of pure curiosity and boredom, I decided to give the new single a go and it's brilliant. I'm addicted to it already and the video is literally one of the best videos I've seen in a long, long time. It's very 'American Horror Story'-esque. The styling, the location, the direction and the concept is perfect. I can see this being pretty big for her. I hope she can at least get 'Video Games' type of success for this song at least. Anything extra will be a bonus.

Really like 'Picking Up the Pieces'. Listening to her first album again and it is rather good - 'Smoke & Mirrors' is brilliant.

 

Love the album covers, she always has such beautiful artwork.

 

She's going to be on 'The Voice' this weekend! :D Looking forward to that so much.

This is growing on me,but its still her worst single.

i'm really hoping Picking Up The Pieces can do well, it's doing ok with iTunes pre-orders and with a Voice performance fingers crosssed!

I bought this album and like it! :D Hopoefully it can get some decent sales and a good album peak after Picking Up The Pieces debuting at #7!

Agony is SO Mr. Brightside, it and When You're Gone are my picks of album tracks after a couple of listens.

Did anyone else go and watch her last tour where she sang the song about Cellulite? Why isn't that on there :(

I've got both albums but prefer the first one to the current.

She's chatting and performing on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (albeit as a late replacement for Rihanna). It should be good anyway, she's got a nice, bubbly personality, even if her voice comes off as a bit fake sometimes.

Loved her on Graham Norton last night!! She's so funny and she's got such a great personality! :D And the performance of 'Picking Up the Pieces' was great too! It's certainly had an impact on iTunes! :cheer:

Really an unusual single choice, I would have probably gone for "Agony" or "Blood, Sweat & Tears". Nevertheless I do love it. Would've been a better Fall single though.

doubt it will do anything big it will hopefully keep interest in the album ^_^

I love Paloma and I did like 'Picking Up The Pieces', but something was missing for me. This however hits the spot!

Really digging this new album, especially 30 Minute Love Affair. It's been on repeat for the last 48 hours.
