As someone who has never been a fan of the Scissor Sisters, I actually find myself enjoying this. I can see why some Scissor Sisters' would be disappointed and call it a 'sell out', but for me, it is making someone who is not a fan enjoy their music, and with the success of the last album, lets face it, thats exactly what they needed to do.

Hmm, it has shades of Fire With Fire, which is good. I like it. It could have a bit more personality, but hopefully this'll be successful for them and we can have an album full of more personality. Like how Night Work turned out.

Quite liking that on first listen, I very much enjoyed Night Work on the whole so I'm hoping that the album eventually turns out as good as that did, something in the same vein musically would be appreciated. I think I did prefer Shady Love though, still can't believe it got cancelled, they'll probably leave it off the album and pretend it never happened now... Only The Horses should definitely be a bigger hit than SL was ever going to be if the release went ahead though so I guess it's all good!

Right, I've decided I'm utterly in love with this and that I NEED TO SEE it live in May (not only for that, but because I have an awful awful fear that if this era flops they'll split and I'll have missed my last chance to see probably my favourite group ever). I have yet to hear the new material, but from what i have read it is looking promising, i would love a disco thumping album mixed with the upbeat ballads they do. This album is crucial in some ways as 2 under performing albums in a row will take from their success, that said success with this album will show they slightly went of the boil for a short period with the third album. Either outcome, i would bet a Greatest Hits in some formation will be the 5th album we recieve from them.

No I'm not liking this and it sounds like a David Guetta bin throw.
