I think it will end up top five but sales will be spread out too much for it to be a serious challenger for number one.

What about you?

Début in the top 5, fall quick-ish as it won't have massive radio and TV airplay then stabilise lower down in the top 40.

I'm gonna say 6-10 but I could see it possibly going as high as #4.

I believe the stylisation 'iLL Manors' is just for the film and the song is stylised 'ill Manors' as per the single cover, iTunes pre-order and video title :P

I like this alot but he has taken a risk coming back with a controversial song and video.

I hope he gets lots of support as the message needs to be heard.

Depending on the competition could go to No 1.

I'd be very surprised if it went #1 but I think low top 5 is possible. It would be lucky to spend more than 6 weeks top 40 unless it miraculously gets lots of radio support.
Probably about 6 or 7, then a swiftfall. It could stabilise lower down though as Charlie says.

Nah man it's 'iLL manors' because when you capitalise the I and decapitalise the two l's, it looks like '3 manors' in roman numerals.

As others have said, I reckon this will get a high debut but can't see it having much longevity, I get the sense the fact its a lot less commercial than the likes of She Said will go against it in the end :(
It'll probably do an Antidote. Not as commercial as She Said, but will do well in the first week due to fanbase, but slip down after that.
I'm surprised I'm the only person to have put #1. It's going to be huge, from reaction I've seen it's probably the biggest song amongst young rap fans since 'Pass Out'!

Barely any views on the youtube video though...

Just because a few of your friends talk about the song, it doesn't neccessarily mean it'll do well in the charts. It needs radio airplay, and it's not getting that (yet). I think his fanbase will be able to get it to debut in the top 10, and then it'll free-fall (similar to Alexandra's current song).

To be fair, neither did Pass Out. Until it was released the only channel I'd ever seen it on was Q, weirdly. When is it even out anyway? Surely it will get at least some decent airplay, even if something like this isn't necessarily going to be played loads.

I think Radio 1 will get fully behind it - so I expect a top 5 debut for sure - then a moderate descent down the chart (something like Gym Class Heroes and will.i.am are experiencing currently).

I was thinking more radio stations. I think MTV will be more likely to play the song, but MTV impacts the chart less. But you're right to be honest. I hardly heard Pass Out before it was released, so maybe Plan B can also get to #1. I hope so, as I really like the song.

I think the song is out pretty soon, in the next few weeks.

ill Manors is out on the 25th of March.

I think #1.

Radio 1 will hammer it to death, plus he has a big fanbase from the Strickland Banks era. Throw in the fact it's anti-government and it references the riots, plus the fact that the reaction to it has mostly been positive, I can't see it being anything other than massive. I expect the soundtrack/film could be massive as well.
