Posted August 8, 200618 yr with simon gregson trying to get out of his spot of drinkdriving by saying he burped the question is should drinkdrivers be able to find loopholes? and with the incar (well intruck) cellphone user who killed a 23 yr old girl when he lost control of his truck while punching in the number, and drove over her Pug 106 the question is should in car mobile phone users be stigmatized as much as drink drivers? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1f/Peugeot_106_95.jpg a Peugeot 106, was completely crushed by truck
August 8, 200618 yr Good questions. I don't know that celebs get off do they? Some don't anyway. The car phone is interesting. Drink driving is clearly a major problem of deaths but is mobiles? I'm not sure. What are the figures.
August 9, 200618 yr drink drivers should get real bad punishment, no excuse for it But getting punished for using a mobile phone is a bit harsh, but do it carefully IMO :)
August 9, 200618 yr i believe that the law states that you have to be in complete control of your vehichle at all times... therefore anything that impedes this is illegal. yes.
August 9, 200618 yr Yes to both. Someone fiddling with a mobile phone and chatting away is NOT paying his/her full attention to the road, and is therefore a potential danger to other road users and themselves....

August 9, 200618 yr No sympathy for drunk drivers who get caught, but how many do it every day and manage to get away with it.
