Commentary : Third week at the top for Romeo Santos featuring the excellent Spanish guitar work of Tomatito. But elsewhere there's a lot of great music making waves in the chart and six of them are entries for this year's Eurovision and I don't think I would ever have charted so many in one year..... actually there has been 7 as this year's Dutch entry made a brief appearance. However still the highest at 2 is the firm favourite with the bookies Sweden, at 4 is a cracking Spanish ballad, the biggest riser of the week is Englebert for the UK climbing from 20 to 10, the Italian entry is at 15 but Nina Zilli's nearly entry is higher at 8. Two Eurovision songs enter this week with the Serbian entry at 17 for Zellijko Joksimovic whose "Lane Moje" is widely regarded as a Eurovision classic. At 20 is the Romanian Spanish language dance entry. The other two entries are the first K pop tracks to break my chart and they are both by acts that have put K pop firmly on the international map. At 18 is Girls Generation not only big in Korea and Japan but with its English language version "The Boys" has achieved international success. Super Junior has also achieved international success with the song "Mr Simple" particularly in Peru and Argentina where the song this week incredibly stands at number 3 presumably in Korean as I dont know of an English ...let alone Spanish version.
