Not really had chance to comment of personal charts for a while so here goes...

Nine weeks? :o What's the longest run you've had at no. 1 in your chart? Or is 'Euphoria' now holding some chart record? :D

Three BJSC tracks in your top 10? :D Shame Ida 'I Can Be' isn't anywhere to be seen. :( I actually held out confirming on the first day because I was struggling to find a song I was happy to enter. Ida's track was released in Denmark on the Monday (or at least that's how it seemed) and after 1 listen on YouTube I was sold. Quirky Danish pop with indie influences. Hope some people like the song as much as me. :(

 

36 (41) Engelbert Humperdinck ~ Love Will Set You Free ~ 2 [41-36]

 

Judging from its #36 peak here, I'm guessing you're not exactly loving the UK entry? Whilst it reads badly on paper, hearing the song and baring in mind the juries I do think Engelbert should easily avoid the bottom half of the scoreboard. Whether it can make the top 5 on the night is still debatable. I'm still hoping for a Sweden win purely because 'Euphoria' really is more than just "a Eurovision entry". 21st Centuries' answer to ABBA 'Waterloo'? Hell yeah!!! :D

 

Not much I can comment on. Quite a few tracks I've not heard and am already aware of the Eurovision contenders and selected my personal faves already.

01 - Euphoria now holds the record, it was previously 8 weeks which was achieved by Ishtar with O Julissi in 2008. They went on get 11 weeks at #1 in total which is another record, so if Loreen can manage to stay there for 2 weeks after my latest chart, Euphoria will have broken the record for most weeks at #1 in total too!

 

I actually haven't started listening to the BJSC songs yet! The ones in my chart are songs I already knew prior to the contest! There's still hope for Ida yet! :P

 

36 - I'm not best pleased that we're sending Humpers to Eurovision really, especially when Pixie Lott wanted to go instead! I think top 10 is possible, but I expect it'll be bottom 10 on the night for the UK. Sweden must win!
