So we've just gone in to the 4th month of 2012, and its sold over 400,000 copies & incredibly still top 10. I'd say it could hit 5,000,000 by December 2012, and in the long run will become the biggest selling album of all time in UK.

I don't understand what's wrong with that post to be honest. He has his opinion and its enevitable that if you post a Top Ten selling albums of all time that people will have their opinions about the validity or not of albums that are in it. All he's saying (i think) is that he doesn't feel it's worthy. I agree with him. You don't. Simples.

 

Thank you Torresgirl, you are spot on, i really don't feel it should be on the list at all. There are always going to be people who back Adele to the hilt but as someone who has a fairly indifferent opinion about her and her music I really do not see what the fuss is over a very average album

To be honest I can't see the album selling more than 8k a week after this year is over. So I say 2014 and over.

 

It hasnt been discounted yet though, imagine when this is selling at £5 the sales will more then likely double what they are now. A lot of albums that were out, if not all, round when 21 was released or a few months after that have all been discounted at some point, so when 21 finally is discounted the sales will most likely even increase.

Back at #1 last week, surely a sign of steady sales? Still think it will be October-December when she hits 5 million!

Sales for a number 1 album were just 20k so nothing to write home about. Next time we see a considerable rise will be if she performs at the Gary Barlow organised Diamond Jubilee thing or the Olympics opening or closing ceremonies. If she does neither then im sure the album will get a few sales in the Christmas 2012 rush

If she does both (but I doubt that), then 5 million by next January.

I think she could do it by the end of this year, while sales are low its still holding very high each week and even returning to number 1. I think another single or some small bit of promo would do her no harm to help her achieve the 5 million sales sooner rather than later but either way it will make 5 million plus eventually.

I'm Pretty positive 5 million is happening this year, 5.2 after Christmas!!!!

Well its still in the top5 and hasnt left the top10 yet, so I think by the end of this year it will hit 5 million.

I reckon about 2 years after its original release date.

I can see her performing on The Voice tbh with Turning Tables or Rumour Has it.
