number 1 and 2 on the itunes chart
#12 and #28 in Ireland which is a great boost as it was in the low 80's, hopefully the jubilee will be watched a few in Ireland and give it a further boost and hopefully get it top 10. Even as its stands its doing better in Ireland than i thought as i didnt expect any success here for it.
Great performance of sing, it should get a massive sales boost in the next few hours and im sure some of the crowd attending may download it when they get home or do so tomorrow.

Yeah it was a fantastic performance, absolutely amazing job by Gary Barlow tonight, hope that seals his knighthood now. He deserves it for services to music for one, but for all the work for charity and now this; it has to be a dead cert

How is the album doing in Ireland?
Made an number 81 debut last week, but it has jumped from number 84 to number 3 on itunes so hopefully a good climb will occur in Ireland this week aswell as the single.

Wow! What a jump! :cheer: :cheer:

I never thought it would do well in Ireland with all the politics around the royals and UK etc but if Gary could get a top 10 album and single there this week it would be amazing!

Ya i would love it too but time will tell as sales will start trailing off now. I cant wait to see his UK sales this week as i think they will be very impressive and i woul dlove if here comes the sun could manage top 40 on sunday aswell but dont think it will happen.
Was away for a couple of days relaxing and enjoying some time out with family, so i have missed all the jubilee and Gary rocketing the itunes chart. Here comes the sun has charted at the least and likely to climb a stage further this week. I was initially slightly disapointed to see Sing had missed the top 10 by 1 place and reminded me of So Help Me Girl all over again but boy the rise it achieved this week is exceptional and the sales look set to be quiet huge in both charts.

In the singles chart Gary is outselling his nearest rival Usher by 3:1 and in the album chart Gary is outselling the top 5 combined. I suspect these leads will decrease as the week goes on but Gary should comfortably hold number 1 in both charts.

haha Pippa you must be astonished when you came back and looked on iTunes! especially after all our original dismay having a scattered release with loads of different versions flying around

Gary is definitely going to retain the number 1 album, that is without a doubt, expect these sales to push him over the 100k mark for the album overall

Single wise Gary has sold 90k already!!! Usher is around 28k. Flo Rida is doing quite well on iTunes though, it was released midnight Tuesday and is up to second overtaking Usher and is up to 20 in the midweeks, he'll be in the top 10 tomorrow for sure. Hope Gary can hang on! Do you think Gary definitely has this in the bag? I really hope he does!

Oh and Sing has been added to the Radio 1 playlist! :cheer:

Im probably gona sound like a right misery guts but im a tiny tiny bit disappointed that it hasnt cleared 100,000, i guess i got over carried away with the itunes lead. Now don't get me wrong 90,000 is absolutely fantastic sales but the sales will decline and decline through the week so i would say 120,000 will be the most, and again that is very good when you add the 32,000 from last week as well.

Im dying to see sales for the album version, 50k + would be nice.

I just want it to number 1 in the singles! Really hope it hangs on, slightly worried about Florida, but Im sure it will defo be number 1 if it is still top on itunes 2moro
I think Gary is safe for number 1 in the singles, as he has a 60,000 lead, while Flo Rida will close the gap Gary will also sell although in lower numbers for the rest of the week.

Kath certainly won't be happy that Gary has a number 1 album and hopefully a number 1 single! :cheer:

Im sure Kath will be fine with it!!! Kath adores Gary behind it all!!

I wonder when we got the sales of 90,000 did that include the 2nd version as well, Flo Rida going by i tunes has seriously closed the gap but i think if both versions were combined ( and they will be in the official chart) Flo wouldn't be as close as many think.
