It's the third version since there was the cover by Walk Off the Earth. But I think there were smaller gaps with Turning Tables and Jar of Hearts last year. I'm not sure.

I think this will prove that Jessie will remain a formidable force in the charts for the near future. I am very excited for her.

I think I smell another #1 for Jessie. I am so suprised it is so high already, apart from the video premiere, there has been no promo at all for this so far, so its brilliant that it is so high already.

There might have been quicker sets of three charting versions of a song back in the 50s, but the next fastest I remember was Adele/Glee Cast/Linkin Park 'Rolling In The Deep', the latter charting 24 weeks after the former.

What I find interesting is that upon release of the platinum edition tracks, 'Domino' and 'My Shadow' both debuted inside the top 200 - but 'LaserLight' was nowhere to be seen - despite having the big name of Guetta on the track. With The Voice as a consistent form of promotion for Jessie as an artist, I'm hoping 'LaserLight' can crack the top 10 officially; but it's already looking to guarantee another top 20 hit (and will hopefully out-peak 'Who's Laughing Now', #16).

Yeah the speed of the climb for Laser Light is absolutely incredible, it could go #1 but i think there a lot of new big releases coming so i think she'll miss out but it'll be a huge hit regardless. I wonder if it could push her debut to #1 finally though?

Boo at Usher being knocked down to #5 :( Looking likely to be knocked down to at least #4 if not 5 or 6 officially by the end of the week as well. I really hope this doesn't end up getting stuck with an awful chart run.

 

Can Nicki climb to #3 ASAP though please.

I think Usher is safe at #3/4 officially - depending on whether fun. can generate enough sales. Officially - it was Jepsen-Bieber-Usher-Gotye-Minaj, so even if Minaj climbs above Bieber, she still has to sell more copies than Gotye combined to get their officially. I think the #2-6 come Sunday will be a shock to a lot of people, especially with fun. already at #8 officially.
