August 29, 201212 yr Shy Of The Cool from the last album was brilliant but apart from that the album was pretty dire. Says something when that song was wrote when they were called UFO. I think they need to be a little less generic!
September 3, 201212 yr Author Couple more new images from the video released today on 4Music website. Definitely can see inspiration being lifted from Justin Timberlake's 'My Love' video which is not a bad comparison to have. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9sfghkcQw1rnen31o3_1280.jpg http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9sfghkcQw1rnen31o1_1280.jpg http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9sfghkcQw1rnen31o2_1280.jpg http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9sfghkcQw1rnen31o5_1280.jpg http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9sfghkcQw1rnen31o4_1280.jpg Edited September 5, 201212 yr by Sabrina.
September 4, 201212 yr I think every JLS, even the most hardcore, deep down sighed when they saw the song title. Looking at the news from yesterday it doesn't look like they will have a number 1 album this year either with Robbie Williams releasing his new album on the same day.

September 4, 201212 yr Who knows? Afterall their debut beat his last studio album to number 1. That was because of the first album hype, and the fact that they had released arguably their best two singles before the album. Even still they beat Robbie by less than 1%. Since then Take That blew them away as competition the year after, nearly selling in one week what JLS's 2nd album has sold up to now and then MB pipped them to the post despite being released X many weeks before Jukebox. Bottom line is JLS' sales of albums and singles are falling pretty much continuously. This time I'd be surprised if they shifted 100k in the first week, although I do expect it to make Platinum eventually. Either way Robbie will sell minimum 200k first week, probably closer to 250k realistically judging by the rave reviews its getting from MW and others so it will 99.99% be number 1 that week, and then 1D will release the week after so they wont climb then either. Still, number 2 is respectable during the Christmas period

Still, number 2 is respectable during the Christmas period TBH with their first album, because there'd not been a decent boyband for some years it did better than I think anyone could have predicted (1.2 million) so it was always gonna be tough to repeat that once the likes of The Wanted arrived on the scene (although they can't sell albums for toffee). But they still sell more than they do album wise and like you say #2 is still very respectable. They're currently offering (but only for a few more days) the chance to get your name in the early copies of the deluxe edition of the album so that should doubtless help things along, likewise if they do the slipcases with HMV again like they always do (I've had JB's for the last three albums).
September 5, 201212 yr This time I'd be surprised if they shifted 100k in the first week 'Jukebox' only did 85k first week so to expect them to do 100k would be a bit OTT anyway. I think 'Evolution' will open on 50-75k and likely get them a third #2 album (they won't beat Robbie). That single title is SLIGHTLY cringetastic but I'll give the song a chance, I do normally like JLS. Edited September 5, 201212 yr by Bré
September 5, 201212 yr Author Alex James who hosts a radio show 'In Demand' up in the north for Key103 has Tweeted saying he's heard the new single. I basically bombarded him with questions as to what it sounds like and basically it's not gonna be another 'The Club is Alive' type song - in fact he's said it's more akin to 'Celebrity' era *NSYNC. This can only be a good thing!
September 10, 201212 yr Author Behold, the album cover (taken from their official newsletter that I got a few minutes ago): http://www.musicmailer.net/newsletter/media/548-176mfo54.jpg It's good, but I hope they're not totally abandoning their colour scheme... :( Edited September 10, 201212 yr by ThePensmith
September 10, 201212 yr Maybe they should give singing lessons to The Wanted on how to use the falsetto. That's how is done. So this rip off a bit Justin Bieber, right ? It sounds a like lot Justin Timberlake, but it's not a bad thing.

Tiffany Foxx I get the feeling 'Dessert' will be the 'naughty' spot on this album a la '3D' on the last album. Artwork for deluxe edition is same as the regular except for a green rather than red font: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ma6u5wP0GP1qm5y8ho2_250.png I wonder where this leaves blue and yellow then? Poor JB and Aston :S
September 11, 201212 yr The green one is rather hideous. :drama: Bad text placement & font for the title lets these covers down. Not a flattering photo of Aston either. I presume it's just coincidental that they've gone with red & green for these covers, and it's not related to their previous four colours gimmick. It's probably time for them to leave that behind anyway.

September 22, 201212 yr Author DFODk0gjF4Y "Dessert" has leaked this morning - albeit in early demo form. It's another Bangladesh production and lyrically it's a very racy track, dessert as sex metaphors o'clock yet somehow it kind of works...the Daily Mail will probably have a 'BAN THIS FILTH' field day as a result... October 3, 201212 yr Author iTunes pre-order for regular and deluxe versions is live. The deluxe version comes with three acoustic videos of 'Hottest Girl in the World', 'Have Your Way' and 'Hold Me Down'.
October 21, 201212 yr Author The lads are on Xtra Factor performing 'Hold Me Down' from the album and chatting to Olly and Caroline after the main show tonight :) It's meant to be the 2nd single apparently so can't wait to hear it!
October 22, 201212 yr Author WkM9lhPbpiU Official album sampler. Really loving the sound of 'Hold Me Down'...think that should be a single!
