June 21, 201213 yr The album's quite decent, more to my taste than Hands All Over, which in turn was more to my taste than their previous albums. For some reason I can't listen to Payphone recently without thinking of Summer Girls by LFO, it's a very summery pop song with 90s-esque production and it's strange to see how Maroon 5 have evolved over the years. Moves Like Jagger really reignited their career, before that they were becoming less and less relevant by the day. Payphone wouldn't have been a hit without it because radio wouldn't have gone near it with a bargepole...
June 24, 201213 yr Was unsure initially on the album, but I've listened to it ten or so times now and I'm really liking it. There are some songs that are very similar and sort of blend in to one, but the production is nice. Some nice little catchy electronic numbers, and also some nice ballads. Some of the songs I can really relate to which is perhaps why I like it so much. The album is full of radio friendly singles though. I always thought after Hands All Over they were going to call it a day as a band. Obviously Moves Like Jagger has changed that, and I always thought Adam would go solo, but maybe not.
February 11, 201312 yr Just heard 'Daylight' as it now seems to be getting TV airplay and I really like it! Probably the best of the 3 singles so far! :D
