They haven't been dropped. They've been told to come up with a good song, but Virgin won't be investing any money into them!
Im willing to give them one last chance, I, Myself quite liked X.

Lol, so basically it is over for them

TBH I really have never heard a song by them...Were they any good?
They were OK, they were the runners up of a british talent contest Popstars: The Rivals, Hear'Say won it, but Liberty X have been the long run winners.
X was amazing, but coupled with an awful video, and zilch promotion it equated to a monster flop.

dont know if they are actually signed direct to virgin. their label seemed to be the unique corp, the same company who did that kool and the gand cd that was in the paper the other week

dont know what kind of licencing deal they've got with the 'tv' special marketing arm bit of emi/virgin

I love all their singles except for "Everybody Cries" and "X".
I wouldn't say their career has been that long lasting, they haven't really had any great success since 2003 chart wise, apart from a couple of low selling singles what have they done? No tours or anything, they just seem to be plodding along doing nothing really, it's a shame because they started off so well and then nobody seemed to be interested in them anymore.
Seems pretty bizarre to me that after their continued abject failure - just what is the point of a supposed Pop(ular) Group who continually fail to achieve chart success - that they've not been dropped when you consider some acts were doing a bit better and still got dropped by labels...

Lisa Scott-Lee beat their last few chart positions and she was dropped. :(

By the way Markie, are you Tit Tat from CC?

The thing that annoys me about Lib X is that they've good songs, just dire management.

They had HUGE potential for a #1 with the CIN single which would have given them an incredible boost, but the label released the limp Night To Remember :( Had they released a decent single and the re-released album the week after, they would have done much better :(

I haven't bothered buying the 3rd album, but it's a crime that Forever and Watcha' Doin' Tonight weren't released off the second album :(
