I'm wondering now whether Harriet Thorpe was in it when I saw the Wayne Sleep version at Darlington Civic Theatre and didn't realise! :D Or worse still, did I know at the time but have forgotten it now.

Michelle Ryan will be on Daybreak next Tuesday talking about Cabaret.

Thanks TT. I know it's unlikely but showing a bit of the rehearsals would be good. :D

My thanks as well TT. :D Not much going on at the moment, which is making me feel rather flat. :(

No there isn't.

Thank goodness for Cabaret and the book or there'd be nothing at all. Pity us come the end of January.

And those interested only in the music will be climbing the walls already.

I'm pleased that while we'll have the show there will be plenty of other artists releasing which will provide a bit of interest. I bet they and their record companies / managements will be really anxious seeing the pathetic album sales of recent weeks.

I forgot about the book, but what's happening the end of January TT? :???:

We don't know what Will's got planned for next year though do we? I'm sure he'll be doing some summer concerts and maybe even a small tour, I can't see him going away for a long time.

Because he's got a brand new contract now, and because he must have negotiated his time out for Cabaret as part of it (and I doubt the label were thrilled with him doing a musical), I reckon he would have agreed the next album sooner rather than later, I'm expecting the end of next year to be honest.

Ooh I do hope you are right. I'd resigned myself to nothing till 2014.

Yes we can watch with interest without feeling anxious. There's a few I'm intrigued to see how they'll do.

I doubt they have much say Marguerite  His actual recording contract is with XIX and Sony just distribute his music. He does what he wants to do. Like he said he makes time to do other things - he's self-employed.

Don't forget there's the best promo show in town back on our screens this week and in the 4th quarter release schedule, you can bet your house on who'll be releasing new singles and albums then.

Well, we did hear just before the formal announcement of Cabaret that it was discussions with Will's record company that were holding things up.

I think they have more say than he lets on Chris. It's a business afterall and Will knows full well there's a lot of people who were his peers who no longer have contracts. Cast you mind back to when he was doing the Vortex, it was Ged Doherty who went up to Manchester to talk about the next album's release, so RCA are much more than just his music distributor. Will only ever talks about X1X as his management company, his label, A&R and all things music are RCA.

They obviously give him leeway inbetween releases, but I still think they would expect a release to fit in with their side of the contract deal.

Sounds like Will's having fun. :yahoo:
