I reckon Israel might miss out after their poor ratings for last night's semi. I wouldn't rule out Hungary either if they finish at or near the bottom on Saturday. I can see Poland returning but Armenia could be serving a ban.

Hungary might stay, being in the final might be enough. It depends on their economic conditions. Latvia could pull out, I remember they had to get private funding for their entry either last year or the year before, so that's another unknown. Montenegro might pull out, I don't know if Poland will return, and I reckon Armenia will return - they just have to broadcast the final to return next year.

If the Netherlands don't get through on Thursday I think that could be it for them.

Hungary wont withdraw, making the final is enough to keep them happy. With many countries i think it is the same scenario who are simply delighted to be part of the final as realistically countries like Hungary, Greece, Ireland, Portugal just cant afford to host. That said, does a countries economy make any difference, Spain are part of the big 5 and their country is more or less in turmoil with unemployment at an absolute all time high.

I know Cyprus had funding trouble this year didn't they as Ivi was close to withdrawing at one point! Hopefully the fact that they are back in the final will mean they will stay, they are my favourite ESC country! :D
I think Poland and Armenia will be back next year but I can see Montenegro and/or San Marino pulling out for 2013. Although if last night is anything to go by I'm all for encouraging them to leave!

Will be: Comeback for Armenia, Poland. Withdrew for San Marino.

Only in my dreams: comeback for Andorra, Luxembourg, Monaco. Most their entries in past were very good.

I think we'll have the return of Poland and Armenia yes, no reason why they won't come back I don't think. If things really go tits up for Greece (as if they aren't already but...), I could see them pulling out, I'm pretty sure it's their good record that has kept them in the contest up to this point.

I think Montenegro and San Marino will both stay, but if Slovakia don't make it through semi 2 this time, I can see them upping and leaving to join the Czechs in Eurovision purgatory.

Armenia will return. San Marino will probably stay next year and see how they finish then decide to leave in 2014 if it all goes tits up again. Slovakia will be gone next year.

Out of tonight's exits, I think Slovakia are a cert to pull out for 2013.

Slovakia, Netherlands will probably pull out

I think Armenia will come back and Poland since they are hosting the Euros this year.

In order of likeliness:

Withdrawals: Slovakia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Latvia, Austria and maybe Greece

Returns: Poland, Armenia and possibly Luxembourg and Morocco

Debuts: Kazakhstan, potentially.

I forgot about Greece especially with their debt crisis, it be strange not seeing them in the contest after so many years, Cyprus will have to give their 12 points to somewhere else

I thought when the Netherlands switched broadcasters that they agreed to participate in Eurovision until at least 2013?

Morocco with Israel still in?

Morocco with Israel still in?

Weren't they considering entering this year under a new broadcaster?

When was the last time Morocco entered, I remember them vaguely in the 70s

1980. It was also the only time.
