Posted May 28, 201213 yr Moonrise Kingdom :: May 25th 2012 http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/uploads/Moonrise-Kingdom-Trailer.jpg "Set on an island off the coast of New England in the 1960s, Moonrise Kingdom follows a young boy and girl falling in love. When they are moved to run away together, various factions of the town mobilize to search for them and the town is turned upside down – which might not be such a bad thing. Bruce Willis plays the town sheriff; two-time Academy Award nominee Edward Norton is cast as a camp leader; Academy Award nominee Bill Murray and Academy Award winner Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents; the cast also includes Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman. The young boy and girl are played by Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward." ocac5Umhb9g No thread on this? Shame on the hipster smoothie clan. I'm finally seeing this tonight! Possibly (probably!) the best release of the summer unless The Dark Knight Rises is indeed truly amazing (sorry Avengers). Critics seem to be loving it just as much as the Wes Anderson stans, too. Exciting.
May 28, 201213 yr ahhh I went to see this yesterday but couldn't find a thread. I try so hard to like Wes Anderson's movies because they're always so aesthetically pleasing and I just love the way they're set out but I always feel unsatisfied for some reason once they've ended. This was easily my favourite of the ones I've seen though. I especially loved Tilda's (way too short) cameo! (Avengers is awful, Batman 4eva)
July 15, 201213 yr i love film but not got into wes anderson yet, many people talk highly of this film, critiques and fans alike, look forward to seeing this then! thanks
October 8, 201212 yr Author BLU-RAY IS GIVING ME LIFE. Still the film of the year for me to be honest. Wes
October 8, 201212 yr Author How has Bruce Willis been in the two best films of the year? BRUCE WILLIS?
October 8, 201212 yr Somehow late with this, as I've just watched The Royal Tenenbaums by Anderson & so watched this as well, despite me not even knowing it was out at the time. So good! Such a lovely story with such believable characters, but mainly the filming style, its so..colourful, but I also love how there's very few close up shots, it worked very well particularly when the two children met in the forest for the first time.
