November 2, 201212 yr When Luiz is being sensible he's immensely talented, I think a partnership between him and Cahill could work very well in the long term given how good the latter is at covering.
November 3, 201212 yr Villa, Norwich and Wigan all winning is absolutely massive at the bottom of the league. HUGE games for the bottom three tomorrow and Monday.
November 3, 201212 yr Author I guess the papers tomorrow will be giving stick to Wenger and AVB. But what about Tony Pulis and Martin O'Neill? The latter certainly seems to screwed up monumentally.
November 9, 201212 yr must win game for bristol on sunday. i must be one of the few people still going down to support del and the lads.
November 11, 201212 yr Author I don't like John Terry, but that's looking like a nasty injury. Probably out for the season easily. Bet he's wishing he got a longer ban now...
November 11, 201212 yr Horrid looking injury. Mata should have killed the game on the stroke of half time really. I wondered the first time I saw the equaliser why Suarez was unmarked at the back post, then watching it back realised it was because he'd shoved Ramires out of the way. Doesn't help himself, does he?
November 11, 201212 yr Author Horrid looking injury. Mata should have killed the game on the stroke of half time really. I wondered the first time I saw the equaliser why Suarez was unmarked at the back post, then watching it back realised it was because he'd shoved Ramires out of the way. Doesn't help himself, does he? It was a foul, but like it was said on Match of the Day defenders get away with it all the time. I think that's the dubious first decision that's gone Liverpool's way this season. Chelsea should have won, but was nice to see Liverpool gain a point from a match they should have lost. I wasn't that optimistic considering the team we had out, the injuries we have, and the fact that Chelsea have the best front four players in the league. Suarez really just is in another class. Liverpool needed Andy Carroll today cos we just lost the midfield totally.
November 12, 201212 yr Horrid looking injury. Mata should have killed the game on the stroke of half time really. I wondered the first time I saw the equaliser why Suarez was unmarked at the back post, then watching it back realised it was because he'd shoved Ramires out of the way. Doesn't help himself, does he? What else should he have done? Stand there and let Ramires clear the ball? It's up to Howard Webb or one of the other officials to disallow the goal if they felt there was a foul
November 12, 201212 yr What else should he have done? Stand there and let Ramires clear the ball? It's up to Howard Webb or one of the other officials to disallow the goal if they felt there was a foul How about not push him? Or challenge for it legally?
November 13, 201212 yr Author How about not push him? Or challenge for it legally? How many legal challenges do you see during corners? Very few. Justice in my eyes that he got away with it, although I'd have much rather had the goal against Everton stand. About time something went in the way of Suarez anyway!
November 13, 201212 yr Regardless of his past you have to be objective about every case, and that was a blatant foul.
November 13, 201212 yr Author Regardless of his past you have to be objective about every case, and that was a blatant foul. It was but the referee didn't blow for it. Every player commits fouls, so I don't see how this case is any different.
November 13, 201212 yr It was but the referee didn't blow for it. Every player commits fouls, so I don't see how this case is any different. Of course the referee didn't blow for it, we wouldn't be discussing it if he had. And it's different because it was a particularly blatant case that we were shown multiple replays of since it led to a goal.
November 13, 201212 yr Author Of course the referee didn't blow for it, we wouldn't be discussing it if he had. And it's different because it was a particularly blatant case that we were shown multiple replays of since it led to a goal. And if he had missed nobody would have cared. It's football, and Ramiers hardly complained about it. It was a foul and it should have been called. But I don't see how that incident can say Suarez doesn't help himself. I think most strikers in that position would have done the same. Ramires was ball watching.

But I don't see how that incident can say Suarez doesn't help himself. I think most strikers in that position would have done the same. Ramires was ball watching. How is it relevant if he was ball watching? Surely anyone who says Suarez is a victim can also see that he perpetuates it by continuing to do what got him a bad name in the first place.
November 14, 201212 yr neil danns has signed for bristol city. just need balotelli and caulker on loan now aha. anyone know if danns is good?
November 17, 201212 yr Author WHAT A DAY Chelsea and Manchester United both lose to teams they would fancy beating. Arsenal demolish Spurs. And Luis Suarez is not a goalscorer :D
November 20, 201212 yr bounce around cause the gas are down, bounce around cause the gas are down. sorry everyone, its bristol rivalry. :heehee: :hic:
