From Now On...the only one that I'm not too keen on apart from about 4 tracks.

Great to see this thread revisited and to read more people's views. :D I'm sure we are all gagging for more new music but what direction would you like Will to take on studio album 6? Do you think the change of label will result in any changes and are there any particular people you'd like Will to write or collaborate with?

Personally i'd love him to work again with Richard X. Love the Echoes vibe but would like Will to be more experimental as he was on Keep On. Will has said his next album will be epic. Not sure he means in terms of commercial success or that he will have more freedom to be creative. May be wrong but doubt the change of label will see Will going global as I feel that isn't part of Will's plans. However I do hope Island can push for main stage slots for Will at festivals and lead to him appearing at such events as the itunes festival.

Echoes imo is far and away Will's best album to date so another Richard X produced album would be fab. Also I would love to hear more co-writes with Jim Eliot...hopefully they can produce another cracker like Jealousy for the lead single. My greatest fear is poor airplay. I'm sure Radio 2 will support him and Will always works hard in promoting his albums but even Heart seems to have deserted him :(

Really excited to hear what he comes up with :w00t:

It's a real pity that Heart don't follow the rules for what is played with all artists. I hoped after the success of Jealousy Heart may have given some of his further releases a spin. However I'm sure Will will continue to receive support from the adult contemporary stations like Smooth and other commercial stations. Radio 2 seem to play such a mix these days. I've never quite fathomed how some artists manage to get played on both radio 1 and radio 2 when I thought they were supposed to aiming at a different sound and audience. Album sales have declined so much but I'm sure if Will gets out there promoting with his next album he'll do fine in the current market. Nothing sells Will's albums better than his live performances. Singing at the radio stations when promoting The Hits seemed to be beneficial so I would like to see him do that again and a radio 2 concert as well as lots of tv promo. :D

I do agree about the Radio Tour.

It really seemed to give a huge boost to both airplay and sales.

I don't doubt that he would do something similar in support of any new album( and the sooner the better!)

'Echoes for me...My all time Favourite.

Great post TT and I hope to see lots of live performances on all the high ratings shows, it can make such an impact even when your radio airplay is not as high as some other acts get.

I just want to see Will getting another platinum album hopefully and to see him in the top 5 album chart again, I'm sure he'll do it. :cheer:
