Was he involved in 'A New Day Has Come'? Did he produce SuperLove and the other poppy songs? I can't remember.

No he wasn't.. Well perhaps he was.

 

He was involved with the "One Heart" album..he produced/wrote "Love Is All We Need", "Faith" & "In His Touch". But.. a few songs from this album are left-overs from ANDHC. These songs could've very well been one of these. :)
