This was a month of surprises after the planned Vülkyria/Elëdan ¨¨¨Ëxtravaganz䨨¨ was seized by Bignia-Zaragovina and the Federal Republic of Ashton after a controversial self-sabotage which saw both nations at war with each other. The semi-finals were scrapped making it everyone's game, and the One Big Final returned for one edition to accommodate for the missing semi-final information.

Aeroche in the midst of the drama continued their hot-streak by surpassing expectations once again with their latest BJSC entrant Tchami. The French producer's electro-gibberish house smash 'Untrue' sailed into the top 10 at 7th place with an incredible 198 pts (Aeroche's highest points total of all-time!). This takes the consecutive Top 10 streak to seven entries, which is two short of tying Mdice's all-time record of nine. It is one the country hopes they can match, but will not compromise their entries to deliberately match this feat.

The contest was won by FSR Rontvia after a three year gap with the emotional 'RAMelia (Song For Amelia)' by RAMelia & Susana, which received 10 points from our nation. Aeroche was also tied pointwise with N DNTN at 8th place, their 18-pointer for the contest.

There are several rumoured entries for BJSC 65 - could another Top 10 be on the cards? What's the difference if it's yours or if it's mine?

It's a sad day in Aeroche as one of their personal favourite entries to date, the subtle house number 'Howling (Âme Remix)' by alternative outfit Howling missed the BJSC XLV final, making it the first entry from our country to do this since BJSC 53 and the second in total. Its semi position and score also means it's the worst-performing entry for Aeroche to date, but they remain positive with next month's planned entry which they hope can return them to a strong position in the BJSC XLVI final.

a bit unlucky for Howling (potential rejects $ucce$$ tho?!). but still- 7 top 10s in a row is such an amazing run! hope your next entry will get you back in there again <3

 

I think this would have done well in the final if it had managed to scrape through. :(

Shame Howling didn't make it Leww, I felt quite sad about having to announce the DNQ :( I liked the song, and it was about 15th in my Semi 2 rank. The wrong semi effect sucks, becuase I'm sure it was a victim of that.

 

I feel quite guilty because I could have swapped a few countries round (Eledan and you with Hendinia and Aquafina perhaps) but I didn't want to 'play god' so I just left things alone and hoped that they'd all make it through anyway. It's without doubt an early shoe-in for the rejects though as others have said.
