Posted August 11, 200618 yr I got the documentary Nobody Someday a few days ago and I keep watching it over and over again. I'm sure most of you have it, but even if you don't this is not directly connected to the film... You probably heard Robbie saying he hates performing and singing for the crowds...In the film he's listing a few of his songs and saying they're all c**p (She's the one, Old before I die, Strong...). He says that he's not enjoying himself when on tour and that he feels bad when he's on stage but doesn't let anyone know that... I hate hearing those words... Now, we're all Robbie obsessed and we can't know anything that goes round in Robbie's mind, of course! But what do you think of this? Why is that so? Were those tears in Knebworth really fake, just acting? Or at any other concert? I can't believe this... :( He must be having fun deep down inside...?
August 11, 200618 yr well I know how you re feeling I had the same feelings and I really didn t like seeing him and listening all of these words from him and especially for his songs and his tour but then I thought that it was a period that he had just gotten away from drugs so...I think he s more mature now!
August 11, 200618 yr that was back in 2002...he was very happy on his tour 2003...and especially now =)...he said that he's never gonna stop!!!
August 11, 200618 yr Author that was back in 2002...he was very happy on his tour 2003...and especially now =)...he said that he's never gonna stop!!! I know it was back then but I think it was on that Live @ Knebworth DVD that he said (after the concert) something like aaaaaaw look at those fake tears... This was not the first time that he cried at a concert and certainly not the last... I hope he never stops cause I have to see him on his next tour! (And Hope too!)
August 12, 200618 yr It was very sad, but he's said recently how he's come to love his songs now. He never understood the adoration of the fans back then because he didn't love himself. He's at a much better place now, from what I can tell. But then again, no one really knows what he's feeling really...we can only go from what he says in live interviews.
August 12, 200618 yr I think he has come quite a long way since that doco and I think it was after this he realized just how deep of a depression he was in. He really believed he was $h!t back then but I really believe its a different story now...he loves being a popstar...most of the time. And with the pretend crying...he has said that sometime he feels a gig...other times he doesn't..but he still has to give that emotion that people expect from him..that something that makes a Robbie gig special  .
August 12, 200618 yr I heard Robbie saying in the documentary " Show of must go on " that no matter how many times the crowd is singing Angels to him, he never gets bored with it. It's always the highlight of the show for him and not just because he can go home after Angels ;) I believe him
August 12, 200618 yr Author I'd love to experience that feeling on the concert, when he sings Angels...It's so emotional...Those lyrics and his eyes...Jackpot!!!
August 12, 200618 yr  I was in Amsterdam and actually cried when he sang Angels ( and i wasn't faking it ) -_- It was not like http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/traurig/sad-smiley-047.gif but i did have tears in my eyes
August 12, 200618 yr Author I think I would shake and cry like crazy! It's a really special song...The man can make me cry even when I watch him on TV!
August 12, 200618 yr I know what you mean  Robbie seems to have that power  It feels so good being on this site, finding a "soul"sister who understands exactly how i'm feeling

August 13, 200618 yr I really like this topic. What you other think about Rob's feelings? I don't now... He looks so sincere on stage, so when he cried I believe that isn't fake... But, I think that he always said: "You're great, you're the best public ever", but they all can't be the best... If you now what I mean? Comparing to others stars, I think that Robbie is the most sensitive and most conected with his fans on concerts. Edited August 13, 200618 yr by Nada
August 13, 200618 yr I wouldn't know....he never talks about his feelings when he's with me
