June 14, 201213 yr Depends which route 1D take. The album will keep selling whilst 'One Thing' keeps climbing on the Hot 100 & airplay and I'd like them to push a 3rd single but they'll have a completely new song in the summer in the UK and the 2nd album at the end of the year - will they hold that back to early next year in the US? Although there's no reason that should hinder 'Up All Night', I mean, '19' has managed to keep selling well into the '21' era. I'm pretty sure they'll appear on the next season of The X Factor USA though. Any predictions for Bieber? I'm expecting 500k minimum for his album opening week and I wouldn't be surprised at 1m but it could be pushing it. He has been sending promo singles into the iTunes top 2 and Gaga & Taylor were both doing that when they cleared 1m. Obviously he has a massive fanbase but I think there's enough single potential on it to keep the album selling and gain new fans.
June 19, 201213 yr Emeli Sande debuted at #28 on the Billboard 200 Quite good considering she didn't have a big radio hit. It seems easy for UK artists to debut on the US charts these days, isn't it?!
