 I used to love that David Hasselhoff song, back when Jamelia was doing alright as well before BOTD criminally flopped.

Weird how Sugababes Easy wasn't on there

Interesting one to choose, 2006 isn't really a musical year I'll ever look fondly back at! But it's probably just because I don't have that many memories attached...this album came out just after I turned 18 and it reminds me of sitting at home and being bored :P Happily things got better from 2007!

Even so there's a few good songs on here, these are my faves:

Scissor Sisters : "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" (first song I ever downloaded from iTunes and #1 on my 18th birthday!)

The Fratellis : "Chelsea Dagger" (big up too to the underrated followup that is 'Whistle for the Choir')

Amy Winehouse : "Rehab" (what can be said that already hasn't? Great artist, great track)

Fedde Le Grand : "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" (remember hearing this on Dave Pearce's Radio 1 show that summer and thinking it's way too uncommercial to be a hit - how wrong I was!)

Razorlight : "America" (absolute indie classic)

Bodyrox featuring Luciana : "Yeah Yeah" (see Fedde Le Grand description! The brief electro-boom of 2006-7 was fun, Mason's 'Exceeder' was the best though)

David Guetta vs The Egg : "Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)" (before he ended up dominating the entire top 40...I remember thinking it was cool he finally got a big hit, if only I'd have known what was to come!)

Cascada : "Everytime We Touch" (at the time this was one of my favourite songs ever  I saw them live in March 2008!!)

El Chombo : "Chacarron" (LOL at this being on here  First song to get popular through youtube? Ridiculous but hilarious)

..and I know there's a lot of love for track 2 of disc 2, but for me it's one of the most overrated songs of all time :puke2:

I agree with you by virtue of it having my favourite song ever on it, and I'm glad you agree in terms of it being your favourite. :D

Scissor Sisters, All Saints, Cascada and Shakira are of course also all WONDERFUL, but beyond that I think it looks quite mediocre. :(

I love the 2005/2006 Nows, I was just getting into the charts for the first time, and they are filled with guilty pleasures :P I still like and would listen to the following:

Disc 1

1. Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin'

2. Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie

4. The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger

20. Rihanna - Unfaithful

22. Gabriella & Troy - Breaking Free (High School Musical  )

Disc 2

1. Razorlight - America

2. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

3. Paolo Nutini - Last Request

5. The Feeling - Never Be Lonely

6. Kasabian - Empire

7. The Killers - When You Were Young

9. Lily Allen - LDN

11. Simon Webbe - Coming Around Again (slightly embarassed by this :drama: )

14. David Guetta vs The Egg - Love Don't Let Me Go (Walking Away)

15. Cascada - Everytime We Touch

17. BeatFreakz - SuperFreak

18. El Chombo - Chacarron (erverdervidavigovahoorrarayorayrrrovigorrrroarayorayovirrrrgoaohaoyvarvrrigova CHACARRON  )

19. Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces

20. McFly - Star Girl (Chris Moyles Friday mornings  )

22. David Hasselhoff - Jump In My Car (I heard this in my SU bar once  I think its quite a funny song even if I'd never listen to it now)

23. Meat Loaf - It's All Coming Back To Me (Haven't heard this in ages, but I did really like it at the time)

That second disc

This has got 'Something Kinda Ooooh' on it so of course it's one of the best! I was in my first year of sixth form at the time this album was released and someone had a copy that we used to blast it in the common room at lunchtimes...
