It's not hard these days especially, if you cannot get a deal you go Independent. :puke2: So, why not? :unsure: He put up 3 songs up on a page, all of them very good very impressed. The big band thing sells just like Joe McElderry would tell you. Why not go with Decca records...they prefer artists like him doing this type of music..
July 16, 201213 yr We still don't know what's happening with Broadway Chicago. We've recordings of some of the gigs he does in LA. But, Darius being Darius, we'll find out more as he decides what to do. The album is being/has been mixed. It's just a case of waiting (as usual). If a film offer came in, we'd be still waiting for the album
July 16, 201213 yr Feels like i've been away 4 months but i'm bk. I got all exited when i read what the tread was called. The albums bein mixed so does that mean it shouldn't be long now till its out? I was sad to hear about chicago closing down here means theres less chance of D doin a show here unless he signs any contracts 4 new shows. We all no D its possible in the future and there is still broadway on the cards. I rely liked the taster we got of the pilot. Shame it never got made but seeing it i understand it was probably too expensive to make it being mostly green screen but at least we all got 2 see D made up as the beast hardly recognised him but he looked great and we al new it was him and u never no what will happen next time they're looking 4 new shows 2 make maybe then it cud get made.
July 16, 201213 yr At least the pilot wont tie him up for years. I hope he didn't lose the chance of Chicago on Broadway by being unable to sign until he knew what was happening

July 24, 201311 yr If he's signed for 6 months, as is usual for the leads of new musicals, that would take him to end of April. I was just hoping he'd manage to get some of his own music out before then. Maybe he'll manage to fit in a gig or two on Sundays, if his contract permits it.

August 19, 201311 yr Just been discussing the new album with my mum. She said she read somewhere that it will b out in October but shes not sure where she read it. I doubt it if im honest because he's busy doing FHTE. We'll just have to wait and see.

October 27, 201311 yr He has said that he expects it to be out soon after he finishes 'From Here To Eternity'. Of course, there hope of a cast recording for that when it finally settles
