In this days of record companies bleating on about declining sales (when they are the ones choosing to kill off formats) when singles sales ahave never been higher and album sales have certainly historically been much lower (albeit not for 15 years), am I the only one irritated by the British record companies holding back records from UK release for months when the US and everywhere else get them right away? Mumford n sons is charting in the States! British band...we have to wait 6 weeks so they can create as artificially high a chart placing as possible. Just when the digital revolution gave power back to the people in chart terms, the record companies are manipulating it again. My own personal policy is to refuse to download any track that is held back for weeks in the UK only, and I wont buy follow-up albums to any act that releases the same album twice but with extra tracks a year later to get two sales out of it. Wait till its a fiver and the extra tracks are on the next one say I...

As for not knowing how to post on here, I don't, sorry! Didnt realise it wasnt where its supposed to be (thought that was where itd gone), and I have a full-time job and don't have the time to spend studying all the ins and outs of everything on buzzjack - it's quite complex - so I just dip in n out if something catches my attention. Sorry if I tread on any toes and sorry in advance for my next faux par...pas...pah...? whatever...:)
