August 20, 201212 yr Author Indeed for The Hunger alone I shall always love him. And that's not even mentioning True Romance (damn!) Until further clarification comes along ... it appears he had an inoperable tumour. (It now appears that this is untrue). I must say - given how bright and 'with it' BJ user seem to think they are ... I was a little disappointed (but actually not surprised) that it took so long for anyone to post a response. Thanks Severin for restoring a little faith. Its always sad to hear of someone dying but I think suicide is the saddest to read of - what could drive someone to do it - how alone must they feel? August 21, 201212 yr Yeah I'm surprised too by the lack of response. Maybe people haven't actually realised how many big films he made. There must be some on here that like his films even if his work isn't typical of BJ's general tastes Also his Saab 900/Viggen jet advert is a genuine classic
