It was great - I was worried about the whole split setting thing but it worked! There was a bit too much Rachel I agree but seeing as the episode was called 'The New Rachel' I did expect a bit of a Rachel focus, maybe in later episodes she'll appear less and New Directions will come to the forefront. I like how they got pushed back down again, also loving Kitty, I'm getting real early Quinn flashbacks from her.

Well later into the episode when Dean Geyer's character (whose name I cannot remember) told her to become the new Rachel, it made a bit more sense - I just assumed it was going to focus on who was going to become New Directions' new lead.

Really loved this episode. The connection between the older cast and the newer cast is brilliant. They have some brilliant replacements! Marley is amazing. I'm really loving her at the moment. The songs are growing on me too. 'It's Time' is still hands down the best of this episode, but the others aren't as bad as I initially thought. Especially 'Americano'/'Dance Again'.

Lea put in a mighty fine performance, again! When she cries it always makes my hairs stand on end! Glee would be nothing without her, really.

Have to admit I am totally addicted to Dance Again/Americano

Just watched this and it really was amazing! Why did I not watch it when it first aired?! Dean Geyer was amazing, and that scene in the bathroom... MORE PLEASE :kink: The whole of Rachel being in New York was just amazing, and the whole feel of it was much better than her being in the school. The scene at the end too where 'Chasing Pavements' was performed and it cut to Rachel on the phone to Kurt was just great, gave me goosebumps. The split setting for 'New York State of Mind' was a bit annoying, however. I would have much preferred that to be a Rachel solo. Marley annoys me a little bit, although I'm hoping she can get better because she has a fab voice.

'Dance Again' being performed too was just *.* and Cassie is such a fabulous bitch. The 'Call Me Maybe' performance was great, and I loved the attitude from Blaine. RESTORING MY LOVE FOR DARREN CRISS RIGHT NOW <3
