Never been a JLS fan however i LOVE this! Really hope that even though it does not look like it will reach #1 that it will instead stick around for a while and hopefully open them up to a new audience.

I think after 'Proud' peaked at #6 and only spent 3 weeks in the Top 75 and 'Do You Feel What I Feel' missed the Top 15 then spending a few weeks in the Top 10 and getting decent sales will be a huge achievement for JLS.

I would say that the reasonable airplay this is getting could help it become a hit, but I thought the same about What Do You Take Me For? by Pixie Lott, only for it to drop like a stone. Not sure yet, I hope it can have some longevity...

A-listed at Radio 1 this week! They're apparently gonna have a Christmas special on Sky1 in December - similar to the one they did two years ago on ITV1 when 'Outta This World' came out. I look forward to seeing that!

Think this era could go really well for JLS and establish them to a new/wider audience - They seem to have really thought about the direction of their music this time and realised they could not just wheel out the same old material each year and expect to have the same level of success.

Did anyone else see the prank they pulled on Olly Murs for 'Stand Up to Cancer' last night? They're such sods but it was funny! All in a good cause too :)

Off to a good start on iTunes - #12 and they currently have the top selling EP, This will be Top 10 by the time of their XF performance so hopefully we will get a surge in sales after
Down from #3 to #5 in today's mids which was to be expected - Really hope they get a boost from their performance on Alan Carr's 'Chatty Man' and it will be enough to keep them Top 5 however can see this now charting at #7 by Sunday
Look forward to seeing them on Alan Carr tonight, it's always a good laugh when they're on! They're doing Daybreak and This Morning next week as well I believe...
Do love a bit of Olly/JLS bromance :) Even after they scared the shit out of him with the human cannonball prank!
New entry at #22 in the Irish charts - Was hoping that this would be the song to get them back into the Top 20 over there, Their first 8 releases achived Top 20 but the last two 'Do You Feel What I Feel' and 'Proud' peaked at #29 and #28
Well that's still not too terrible...Ireland's never really reflected what happens in the UK to any great degree anyway. I think somewhere between #5 and 6 seems most likely for the single when it charts here this afternoon. They were on Sunday Brunch this morning - loved their interview on Alan Carr on Friday too!
I'd predict #7 for this week, like Leona, although with higher sales than her. Still a failure anyway.

In terms of British groups, it's not typical for UK Top 10 peaking singles to miss the Irish Top 20 (unless you're called Lawson, but in fairness they're still in the process of establishing themselves).

A handful of examples where a UK Top 10 (6-10) has missed the Irish Top 20:

UK | Ireland

JLS

06 | 28 Proud

The Saturdays

08 | (Not Top 50) If This Is Love

Sugababes

08 | 28 Caught In A Moment

Lawson

06 | 50 Standing In The Dark

Usually UK Top 5s make the Irish Top 10 and UK Top 10s tend to reach the Irish Top 20. JLS are most certainly under-performing in Ireland with a #22 (their previous "first singles": 'Beat Again' - #3, 'The Club Is Alive' - #4 and 'She Makes Me Wanna' - #2).

I was dead on the mark in my prediction then! New entry at #6 this week. Shame it didn't hang on to top 3 but their 10th top 10 hit in any instance which is not at all shabby. They shot the video on Friday for the 2nd single off the album which'll be 'Give Me Life' - no release date confirmed for that yet but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.

22-46 in Ireland.

UK: #14 in today's Friday chart update.

It's a shame this has not been a bigger hit for them but they are rushing out the second single from the album which will set up the album nicely for some healthy sales over Christmas
Album leaked. When is it actually released?
5th November. I think the leak was the Irish release!

Oh I see. For some reason I thought there was a month or so to go, I swear I saw someone on here refer to them rushing out another single prior to the album release

How much are we expecting the album to do first week, then? I'm thinking 50k or less.
