For the record, it was the album after To Love Again that killed Alesha Dixon's career, and Matt Cardle got a top 10 hit with that lead single, something none of his own material could come close to. :rolleyes:

 

'To Love Again' certainly signified the beginning of the end for Alesha, and the reason Matt Cardle could get no other hits is because that song killed the album campaign stone dead before it got off the ground.

'To Love Again' went top 15 so no that did not signify the end of her career, it actually boosted her sales from that album. She should have made a better follow up album. That is the bottom line. And the Matt Cardle excuse is ridiculous and is based on personal opinion with no substance. Again, the bottom line is that his singles after RFYL got airplay but they did not connect with the public.
