New comedies this season are flunking so hard.

The Mindy Project continued to be hilarious. I love how Fox's highest rated show last week was a show in it's 24th season, they better hope 'The Following' & 'The Goodwin Games' are hits but I'd say it's unlikely for the latter especially.

Second ep of Mindy was very patchy... I only laughed out loud once or twice. The New Normal is still the best new comedy.

You must be thinking of someone else! I've loved it since the first ep.

 

I've decided in spite of every fibre of my being telling me not to that I shall give elementary a single solitary tiny chance not to be shit. Given that it's an american raping, sorry, reworking of an international show I'm not setting the expectations more than a couple of electrons off the ground.

In spite of actually wanting to fire bomb Elementary before it began, annoyingly I actually was rather intrigued and hooked from start to finish. I even enjoyed it.

 

 

God damn CBS procedurals, they are my guilty pleasure.

Well I can definitely concur with that. I'd add VEEP to the pile too, but it's a very different affair. I'm not bothering with Mindy anymore, which was the only new comedy I bothered with to begin with.
