After the floppage of Heartbreak On Hold in June, Alexandra has finally revealed some news about her career's future. It seems she's managed to stay on the label (it was partially their fault anyway that HOH flopped) and is focusing on cracking America finally!

 

She's confirmed that she's working with Rico Love ('All Night Long', Beyonce's 'Sweet Dreams') on the album and further details will be released before year's end. It's definitely looking to be a return to her R&B roots. I for one am glad she's putting that truly terrible era behind her. All Night Long 2.0. please!

 

Alexandra Burke has revealed that she is working on an album for a US release.

 

The singer admitted in a Q&A session on her official Twitter page that she is working on new songs to put out in America.

 

 

When asked by a fan if she was recording music for a US album, she replied: "I certainly have...!" adding that fans can expect to hear "R&B bangers".

Glad to see she is getting another album, 'Heartbreak on Hold' was a fantastic album! I know it was a big change, but I can't believe it underperformed so much. Hopefully, they can still get Alexandra on XF this year to perform a 3rd single from HOH to try and boost sales one last time.

Because Alex would actually be liked and appreciated in America. Her personality would be welcomed. The UK hates a female with a loud, confident persona. Jessie J is also starting to get hated for the same reasons.

Heartbreak On Hold is finished. Let us move on from this disaster ASAP, eventhough i loved the album and still do

Hopefully she'll secure some of the Rico Love tracks that were lost and ofcourse the Swizz Beats track

I met Alexandra the week she released 'Let It Go', I just felt so bad for her as she's a nice girl and I thought it was a strong song, and while the album was pretty by the numbers dance pop for this day and age it was solid enough. Afterall, being generic doesn't stop many other acts being successful.

The album was way more generic than most other popstars doing well right now. I can't remember another comedown in quality between records as severe as from Overcome to that.

Its crazy how unpopular she has become in the UK.

Curious to see the direction of this next album they are moving on quick time! I doubt we'll see her on XF this year.

Alexandra please stop your embarassing yourself. Album 2 was dire . You will need a proper smash to pick yourself up and i cannot see that happening
