Oh my god, calm down! I'm not being serious. I don't even see myself as an Alexandra hater, god forbid anyone saying something negative about her...

So she's not under a label and she's 'recording' an album, I don't expect this before 2016 or NEVER. :(

...you've had a shit day? :heehee:

Bless poor Alexandra. Was a stupid decision to make a generic album like HOH though, however much I did actually enjoy it.

Should I just let everyone talk shit about my fave then?

No, I'll defend her.. It you don't like getting attacked, eventhough I'd imagine you're used to it now, don't post shit about other peoples faves K?

Jesus Christ. I don't think I'd even be as defensive over Nicki...

I'll leave it at that for now.

It would be interesting to see her do an R&B album but it's clear that she won't release another album again unless she manages to release a single that's a smash hit.

A shame, but if nothing else I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. I listened to both of her albums earlier (my way of mourning a career that probably won't recover from this anytime soon), and 'Overcome' is still up there as one of the best albums an X-Factor contestant has managed to produce. 'Bad Boys', 'Broken Heels' and 'All Night Long' were all fantastic songs, and even 'Start Without You' doesn't really deserve the stick it gets. The quality dip with the second album is rather unfortunate, but again it's not quite the atrocity it can be made out to be.

I'll never understand why her X-Factor guest judge stint is described as her downfall though. I remember coming away from that episode thinking she'd done a charmingly good job.

She's out recording one in New York recording and NYC studios are really expensive and she cant be paying for it herself so I reckon she's been signed or on the verge of being signed already. Also she met Oprah a few days ago as well do really think she would be meeting Oprah if she was unsigned ? .

HOH was an utter disaster, I never expected her to bounce back from that and this just confirms everything we knew already.

A 2-week #1 from 2 years before her first commercial failure and a well-covered X-Factor judge slot had sod all to do with this.

Griff stop trying to provoke Tim, if you complain about being provoked please don't do it to other members. Tim learn to take criticism on your favourite artists.

May I remind y'all who the REAL Alexandra hater was, I DESTROYED ALL DREAMS LAST SUMMER. I'm sure Umi could back me up!

Well maybe that means she did actually choose to leave herself then?

And Heartbreak on Hold wasn't even that bad, it was just completely faceless which is the last thing she (or any other X Factor contestant) needed. She is capable of delivering killer hits (Let it Go being the biggest of course), so i do hope this isn't the end for her.

'Heartbreak On Hold' really was that bad Haus!

It really, really was.

Hate to STATE THE OBVIOUS, but if nobody "talked shit" about "other peoples faves" then there would be no discussion at all. No doubt you have done exactly that about other peoples faves, so get some perspective and stop being needlessly aggressive.

Defensive stans really are very irritating.

If it actually is criticism I will take it, as I criticise her myself enough. But OMG LOL SHE IS DROPPED LMAO OR AT LEAST I WISH SHE WAS! doesn't sound like criticism to me.. Anyway I believe I made my point so I'll rest my case here

Laugh at off, no point in feeding the troll.

No-one is saying that though (with maybe the exception of Griff who I'm not gonna talk about right now)? I believe I speak for most of us when I say we can see clearly why she was let go; there was a decline in interest and (for many) quality and that translated into poor sales. That's not laughing at her plight.
