Source: USA today the greatest of the crooners in my book, brilliant voice, my generation loved his variety show/cookie bear, and a load of great hits - his versions were often the definitive versions. Saw him live at age 80 the other year, just as engaging as ever, even if he wasnt as sprightly. Best moment? "Almost There", brings tears to my eyes every time!
