Commentary ; Psy's long six week run at the top comes to an end this week but it may not be a long wait before I have another K-Pop number one as the highest new entry of the week indeed of the year crashes in at 6 for a song that topped the Korean charts in June well before Psy. The group Big Bang have had eight Korean number one hits and two Japanese number one hits but "Monster" is their first appearance on my chart. Group member G Dragon also climbs from 15 to 10 to bring three K -Pop songs in my Top Ten and Girls Generation and Super Junior plus Donhae and Eunhyuk also charted earlier in the year there not having been any previous Korean presence on my chart. However this week's number one is a genre that has appeared frequently on my chart, that of Bachata and Toby Love rises from 3 to 1 to make "Lejos" his second number one on my chart following last year's "Casi Casi". Apart from Big Bang there are two other new entries....at 16 is Pink with "Try" and this is her first entry on my chart since "Nobody Knows" and "Dear Mr President" in 2007 .... and at 19 is Robbie Williams who comes in at 19 with the catchy "Candy" and this is his first appearance on my chart since 2002 when "Feel" charted.
