I'm back. Eventually. I downloaded the updated Flash Player for Firefox and tried YouTube. No bloomin difference. 'An error occurred.Please try again later'. And then my system totally froze. I had to do a forced reboot and it froze again :(

Google Chrome is another search engine just like internet explorer or firefox.

You could try using it, see if any faster?

Google Chrome is a 'fancier' version of Google....I've heard people gripe about it, I've heard others say it's the best thing since buttered and strawberry jammed scones in clotted cream...is really up to you, Jups, as to whether you keep it or not....personally, I see no flippin use for it....

 

 

Hi, by the by....I'm presently in Pennsylvania, 5 hours on from a second interview in the small city of Wilkes-Barre, for a hospital pharmacy technician position...I had an interview yesterday (Monday) in Pittsburgh, for a different hospital pharmacy technician position....as of last Friday, I've driven just over 1400 miles by meself, and I have a near 1100 mile drive just to get back to Florida...I won't know anything good or bad for either job for 2-3 weeks....I pooped for all the driving.....and the rains....

Google Chrome is far faster than IE imo. I gave up on IE as I was sick of how slow it was.

 

Evening btw - just back from seeing Brad Pitt's new film 'Killing Them Softly' - enjoyed it but was expecting more. 7/10 :smoke:

I think it's AVG clashing with search engines that causes the slowdown, has anyone but me had that problem. I am gonna get an Apple Mac shortly & that will get rid of the need for these bloody antivirus packages altogether :mellow:

I use Norton, that tends to slow down computers a little.

 

I'ld love an Apple Mac, they are so expensive though.
