Posted October 11, 201212 yr Take That to reunite next year for studio album, new tour? Take That are apparently considering reuniting once again next year for a new studio album and tour. All five members are making "positive noises" about working together again, The Sun claims. © Rex Features / Olycom SPA An insider claimed that the recent furore around the first X Factor elimination has inspired Gary Barlow to prioritise Take That. "The events of the last week have really confirmed in Gary's mind that he needs to get back to what he loves best," the source said. "Gary is going to give this series his all and then it will be full steam ahead for Take That. "The lads are enjoying a bit of freedom at the moment, but they are all united in their desire to get Take That back on the road. A new album and tour have been discussed, and all five of the boys are making really positive noises." Robbie Williams is due to release his new solo album Take the Crown next month, followed by live shows. Mark Owen will also promote a new solo record in spring 2013, and it is believed that any reunion would be scheduled around both his and Williams's existing promotional commitments.
October 11, 201212 yr Again happy we have a new TT album in the pipeline! Strange timing for Mark though, would have made more sense to have released whatever he is working on around the time that Gary released Sing or even around this time. Now he's going to have to be writing with TT and then promoting his own stuff all around the same period. Either way I hope it does well for him. Edited October 11, 201212 yr by jay727
October 12, 201212 yr Author It would most certainly have made more sense for Mark to do his solo thing at a different time but i guess he didnt have it ready and he probably took time out to enjoy the arrival of the new baby. I am certainly more looking forward to the Take That album but i will keep an ear and an eye out for Marks material aswell.

October 12, 201212 yr I did expect that Take That news regarding the album, im surprised we are getting another Mark album though, i agree it would have more sense for him to relesae during the take that time apart but he musnt have the material ready.
November 5, 201212 yr Gary is being honoured tonight by the Music Industry Trust. He was interviewed by someone earlier and is quoted as saying that 2013 will be huge for Take That. He will also ask Robbie if he wants to be involved
November 6, 201212 yr Author I just want a new album, i always look forward to a new Take That album, and am always full of anticipation to hear the lead single.
November 6, 201212 yr I really want to see the Gary Robbie version of candy they did last night and the version of rule the world as a 5 they did last night as well!
November 6, 201212 yr I can't find any links at all of those performances :( if anyone spots them please post then up!
November 8, 201212 yr Author I would be interested in what sound Mark will take for his solo album. In my opinion i think Mark should go for an all out and out pop album in the lines of up all night, it could have a wider commercial appeal.
November 8, 201212 yr I'm not convinced he's big enough on his own to make a significant impact on the charts. Possibly top 10 debut and a big fall the week after. I wonder if he will bring out a single first or maybe release it on the day of the album
November 8, 201212 yr I cant see it getting a full release i think it will be a website only release or something like that.
November 9, 201212 yr Author It would like the likely option, but i would like to see how things would work if he did a more commercial album and promoted it. That said, he may look at it that he does all this with Take That as where with his solo material he can do anything he likes and does not have to worry about its success or its sound, treat more as an experiment for him.
November 11, 201212 yr Its all fine and well but im sure everyone who makes an album wants it to sell, if not not why release it, i just think some good promotion would do him no harm at all.
November 14, 201212 yr Author Very true, i would think the same,i sometimes wonder is it just an excuse to cover the fact they know it wont do well.
November 16, 201212 yr Its all fine and well but im sure everyone who makes an album wants it to sell, if not not why release it, i just think some good promotion would do him no harm at all. How about just for fun? It is not like he is poor and needs the money or that he has not enough fame and needs more. Not all in Take That are after the fame and money, you know, especially now as they have a lot in comparation with tausends of artists? Howard is happy with his DJ-ing and producing some songs, Jason, who knows, so why should be Mark like Robbie and Gary after massive exposure, sell and fame? If you want to sell you must make it popular nowadays, there are a lot of artists who likes better to make the record they want and not the record the management wants  . Perhaps he likes more the creative part of the process, the rumours are that he have made other albums he didn't published, so digital or not, on his own website or itunes, i don't care. I am just curious with what sound he cames (it seems it is dance, after twitter of the mixing team), the rest is of no importance for me. Not to keen on the "dance" idea, hope is not Progress reloaded, that album is my last TT fav album, is just too busy and going nowhere and the overproduction goes on my nerves. Now The Circus direction :w00t: I still hope Mark would go for theater /West End / film music someday, i think he have good talent for it (he had already made music for a one-man-show, but i didn't get to hear it). You've got to look at the big picture Iris. Take That is a huge thing (especially with Gary Barlow's name attached to it). I think Mark will only be allowed to do something solo if it is 'up there' with Take That's stuff - perhaps with Gary writing stuff for Mark. Personally - I'd hope Take That (as a group) would call it a day now that Gary has got his solo career up and running. And that Mark would go ahead and do his solo stuff (I also think that Jason has some mileage as a dramatist, and obviously Howard has his DJ stuff going strong). Sadly ... they all know which way their bread is buttered and how to please their financial advisers ... and Take That will plod on and on for a few more years safe in the knowledge that the fans will buy anything. I think personal creativity will NOT come into the equation at all.
