Commentary ; Big Bang and Psy continue the K-Pop stranglehold on my chart with Big Bang's "Monster" spending their second week at the top whilst Psy's "Gangnam Style" has a 10th week in the Top 2. Climbing from 7 to 3 is Bruno Mar's with his 8th song to reach the Top 3 in my chart .... "Locked out of Heaven" could be mistaken for an 80's Police track. Three new entries this week and all three are big ballads sung by artistes with incredible voices. The highest new entry at 7 is Adele's "Skyfall", a song that has been the highest new entry in so many countries this week and is a perfect Bond theme. Adele has charted three times before with me on "Make you feel my love", "Rolling in the deep" and "Someone like you" but "Skyfall" is set to be the biggest on my chart. At 14 is another great British female singer Leona Lewis who charted with me on "Bleeding Love", "Better in time" and "Run" and returns with "Trouble". Meanwhile in at 18 is the 5th Korean song on my chart this week and again it's a big ballad, very different from the 4 K-Pop songs higher up the chart..Naul's "Memory of the wind" is top in Korea for a third week ...."Gangnam Style" was top for 5 weeks. There will never have before been as many as 5 Korean songs in my chart and with 6 British acts in my chart it would have been several years since this was last matched.
