what I was loving 15 years ago this week. Doing an astronomy course in the evenings, work in the day. Yes, I spent time looking at Uranus through a telescope.

Aqua - Barbie Girl is my favourite song here.

For Texas: I like the singles from "The Hush" album more, than from "White On Blondie", but they are also OK.

Never was a fan of Spice Girls as group, but adore Geri Halliwell's solo material.

"Dancing Queen" again in retro charts. I think, that it's your favourite ABBA song.

Thanks Alex, my fave Aqua song was one of their follow-up singles, not such a big hit - it was fab and Ive totally forgotten the name of it, I think it was the first single off the next album!

You're right, not only is Dancing Queen my biggest Abba song (I prefer I Knowing You Knowing Me but its never been re-sissued or re-charted) in chart-points it's far and away the biggest song ever in my charts!:)

Ah, 97. in my charts of the time dance/club music dominated, so a fair few 'classics' didn't do as well as they would have done otherwise. My pick of all of these would probably be The Drugs Don't Work. I only vaguely remember the remix of Sun Arise

Intrigued, I dug up my own chart of the time:

01 ** Regina - Day By Day

02 ** Olive - Outlaw

03 ** Aqua - Barbie Girl

04 01 BT ft Jan Johnston - Remember

05 02 Chicane ft Power Circle - Offshore 97

06 03 Eternal - Angel Of Mine

07 08 Tin Tin Out - Strings For Yasmin

08 14 Red 5 - Who

09 ** Kim Mazelle - Young Hearts Run Free

10 ** Bellini - Samba De Janeiro

11 ** PF Project ft Ewan McGregor - Choose Life

12 04 Chakra - Home

20 11 Sonia - Someone Like You

Hi, thanks for that interesting:) Yes I also dont recall some of them (I have yet to revisit and replay my tapes for 1997) even ones I liked a lot (such as Bingo which we both like!). I see what you mean about clubbing tracks, I didnt start clubbing (believe it or not!) until 2001 at a rather advanced age, so I have lots of dancepop faves from 2002 onwards really... and we still agree on quite a few anyway! I'm most intrigued by the Kate Bush re-issue, it didnt rechart in mine until recently:)
