Beyonce will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show in 2013, according to reports. An official announcement about next year's half-time show performer is due to be made tomorrow, but a source close to the event told Associated Press that the 'Crazy In Love' singer was already confirmed for the American football extravaganza. The 2013 Super Bowl will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on 3rd February. Beyonce sang the American nation anthem at the Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004 in her hometown of Houston. If confirmed, she will join an illustrious line-up of acts who have performed at the coveted half-time show, including Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Prince. The Super Bowl is regularly one of the most-watched events on American television, attracting over 100 million TV viewers. In August, it was reported that Beyonce had spent thousands on security for her studio in New York to ensure no material is leaked from recording sessions for her new album. The 'Love On Top' star has been holed up in the studio with Kanye West and husband Jay-Z's producer Hit-Boy working on the new material. I've not seen many of the shows, but Madonna's this year was quite good... It'd be a great boost for her album if it's presumably released around that time as well :D

January 27, 201312 yr I'm not sure how long it was last year, but there have been stories saying the setlist has 'leaked' and she's due to start with "Crazy In Love" and Destiny's Child will appear and sing "Bills Bills Bills", "Survivor" and "Nuclear". Not sure how reliable it is, but that would be good! Looking forward to it either way.

The report said that that was only part of the setlist though, I imagine she's due to perform a new solo song as well.

I suppose so, but I think if she only has 13 minutes, I would quite like it to be a 13 minute party, with all uptempo, and 'Crazy & Love', 'Run The World' and 'Single Ladies' offer that. I am also hoping if they do a DC mash up that 'Lose My Breath' and 'Bootylicious' are covered in it too.
February 4, 201312 yr I can't believe no-one has commented on it in here. I was jumping up and down for the entire thing and have decided if I ever saw Beyonce, I would probably become mentally unstable and just scream in strangers faces for weeks afterwards. Serious LOL at Kelly and Michelle cutting the power off on their way out of the building, so mad that Queen Bee turned their mics down so low, but it was still utterly fabulous of them to appear. Best Half Time Show ever.

February 4, 201312 yr Author A seriously amazing performance! I was worried that she was going to perform too many songs from 4 and not enough of her earlier stuff, but there was a nice mix. Kelly and Michelle looking confused as to how they appeared was hilarious, but their contribution was incredible. "Single Ladies" by the three of the them was amazing, and Beyoncé dancing with her mirrored image was possibly the highlight. The only thing I could have asked for was a new song premièred, but even without I am more than satisfied.
