Posted October 17, 201212 yr It's been confirmed! Anouk will be representing The Netherlands in Eurovision 2013. Woo. The song will follow in February. Let us discuss that (oops or not; *0 replies* as of December 24th) Edited March 18, 201312 yr by Jerick
October 17, 201212 yr YAY. They're finally taking it seriously. The noughties Dutch entries are like the UK's except without the big names.
October 17, 201212 yr Yay :cheer: I do think she's a bit above it but I'm glad the TROS saw that this was an opportunity they shouldn't let go. Hopefully the song will be as good as 'Three Days in a Row' (which is my favorite song of hers, actually thought about sending it to BJSC ) : ?v=SSFbfBVo_0Q Meanwhile Gordon from ''The Toppers - Shine'' (2009?) wants to represent Switzerland with this ''LA the Voices'' band this year. LOL good luck to Switzerland if that's going to happen. Edited October 17, 201212 yr by Atonement
October 17, 201212 yr Obviously we'll have to wait and see what the song is like but this surely must see Netherlands into the final at long last. Caro Emerald and Within Temptation aside, they can't do much better than this! I still think it's a travesty Joan Franka failed this year, bloody juries!
October 29, 201212 yr Great news tbh HGer favourite song of mine is Lost. She'll sing a few songs and then the public decide which song is being sent and knowing us, it'll probably be the one with the least potential :P Anyways I'm excited to see what she's coming up with
November 6, 201212 yr That's true, Anouk didn't want the public to choose the song so the TROS caved and now she can choose it herself. Which is probably for the best anyway.
December 27, 201212 yr New song taken from her new album, her eurovision song will probably be like this Her album will be out the 17th Edited December 27, 201212 yr by tim94
February 21, 201312 yr The song will be called 'Birds Falling Down'. According to the producer, Tore Johansson (Suede, Franz Ferdinand, Saint Etienne), it's something that doesn't stand a chance at winning :nocheer: Edited February 21, 201312 yr by Atonement
February 21, 201312 yr The song is called "Birds Falling Down". It'll be presented in March in some shape or form... it wasn't written especially for ESC  It's said to be big and epic, advanced music with a lot of chords. Her Swedish producer team (ding, ding, ding) said it's chanceless because it's so advanced. The producers also co-wrote most of the FBOW album (FBOW, 3DIAR & also D&D). I'm like... MY BODY IS READY. :cheer: Edited February 21, 201312 yr by compil.
February 21, 201312 yr On my way. Video Shoot Day 2. #Birds I feel like kissing someone. (4 videos in 1 week)
February 22, 201312 yr I just heard that my producer Tore thinks our song is too good to win the Eurovision songfestival. Is that even possible? Have Faith young Skywalker! The force is strong with this one :-) By The way the song is called Birds and not Birds Falling Down. Have a Magnificent Day! --- I... I... I just want it in my life :P
February 26, 201312 yr qIEny8vJ99w#! This was apparently in 2011! What she basically says after 2:10 is : [Radio presenter compares it to Billie Holiday] ''Well that's a big compliment. The melody is kind of '50s but the production will be big, there will be a choir. It will be bombastic, fantastic and it will be kind of soundtrack-y. I don't want to use any drums [on the whole album]''. Edited February 26, 201312 yr by Atonement
