I am so excited!!! Really hoping she's EVERYWHERE and goes for it with the promotion worldwide this time. I want her to be successful in the UK again.

SO READY FOR THIS AAAHHHH.

Definitely one of my favorite artists of all time, she better bring it!! She very rarely lets me down tbh, I cannot remember a lead single by her that I didn't like.

Sia, Britney and 'one of the most beautiful songs I have recorded in a LONG time'. So here for this
On a side not , Lew... Your Britney sig is so f***ing cute. I can't.
This is from around the X factor days.

From an apparent insider on the album. RUMOR CONTROL.

On the album itself...the album is heavily inspired by Blackout and In the Zone. It is easily her most personal since In the Zone, and there will be lots and lots of Britney writing credits. It's her most personal record since In the Zone, and the sex/partying/dancing aspect will be played down. She's inspired about her music again in a way that she hasn't been since Blackout, and she's excited for the fans to hear it. I'd be very surprised if this wasn't her most involved and active era since In the Zone. The fans are gonna love it. The album isn't nothing like Femme Fatale..there will still be some generic dance tracks...but they're really good, and will have a classic Britney feel. The album did NOT have a title as of a week ago. If anything has changed in the past week, I genuinely do not know. Britney loves Rihanna's recent work and looked to We Found Love and DIamonds for inspiration. Also, the Miley Cyrus collab is 100% real...yeah it's Larry's doing but Britney doesn't mind. As for the era...the 'futuristic' theme is legit, and will tie in to the Vegas residency. Think of a 2013 Oops video, except not so cheesy and silly.

Her dancing...it is never going to be like it was. It's just not. Her dancing is a strange situation with no single explanation (it's a combination of things), and fans really need to give her a break on that issue. There will be improved dancing this era, but the Onyx days are over, period. Britney doesn't really think her dancing most of the time is really that bad, though...which it's not...it's just not like it was in 2004.

Her involvement...Britney loves singing, writing, and dancing. She really does. She enjoys performing for her fans. She hates promoting. Hates it, hates it, hates it. Doesn't like magazine interviews, doesn't like photoshoots, doesn't like meet-and-greets. Can I put it this way? She loves music, she loves performance, but she is sick of being Britney Spears, World Superstar Pop Icon. Overall, though, Britney is MUCH more involved than people give her credit for. Those interviews from MTV and such with producers that talk about how professional she is are very true. She knows a lot about pop music and the pop industry and doesn't give herself enough credit for her talents. But she will go out of her way to fight for what she wants. Very little is imposed on her, artistically. (By the way, for all the talk about how the 'original' Femme Fatale was scrapped, which is true, Britney still enjoyed the final Femme Fatale more than she enjoyed Circus. And she loves working with Max Martin.) She is not afraid to say NO if she doesn't like a song, performance/video concept, single choice, etc.

Britney is mostly "free" to do what she wants, but there are some serious limitations. I'm not going to say anything about the conservatorship; the details are not the general public's business, and she'll reveal all on her own schedule. Hopefully it will all be over sometime in the mid-term future. But in general...she does not look at herself as this Pop Queen and cares far, far more about being a good mom than about being a good pop star. Her kids are her life. She loves them more than anything. Her daily life is pretty routine, though, which is how she likes it. She does have friends and people who care about her, and she's in a much better place now than a few years ago. She's still the same Britney as before...just...a lot more private. And there's a lot (like her mental health) that is very private and that she doesn't think is anyone's damn business (certainly not goddamn Oprah's).

I am SO READY for this era to begin. I'm really glad it's a fourth quarter release too.
Why did you delete that topic Tylah? Was that not Britney rehearsing? :o
