October 26, 201212 yr Author HEY IZ. Lovely #1, I need to get it in my iTunes so I can obsess. Probably my favourite new artist of the year. :heart: I like 'Galaxy', but it's a very good contest this time so "like" isn't quite enough. :( Although watch it grow on me and make my top ten in a month. :lol: Glad to see 'DNA' getting a foothold. Some nice chartings for Loreen, although 'Do We Even Matter' is easily my least favourite on the album. And 'Losing You' needs to go higher! Great chart as ever though. :D I want it properly on my iTunes too. It's really obsess-worthy even without that (and I find the cover picture really beautiful). She keeps getting better and better with every release, I don't think a WHOLE lot of Video Games but everything after that is :heart:. Aw, I need Syndare points before the end of the year SOMEHOW, one more contest to try that though. DNA is certainly getting a good foothold, lovely girlband song. Do We Even Matter is my favourite!! Singles aside, I just love it's understatedness and power that Loreen has even without much production. See You Again is still pretty amazing also though. I also love the video and how even though it's 10 minutes, it's still interesting in a different way to that of 'Telephone'. Would really love to see this give the Del Rey a big UK hit. I can imagine this being a small sized hit here but pretty big across Europe. 2. [4] Don’t You Worry Child - Swedish House Mafia (3 - 4 - 2) [3wks] What a choon!!! :dance: I never thought I'd like a SHM track more than 'Greyhound' but this really is how to end on a high note. Easily my fave song they've done and was really glad it made #1 in the UK. 3. [3] Diamonds - Rihanna (2 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 3) [5wks] I've come to the conclusion that this isn't quite up there with 'We Found Love' so glad this didn't end up topping my chart. The forthcoming music video may have a knock on effect and this should stick around in my chart for a while. 4. I gave this 1 point but considering there were 18 songs I wanted to give at least one point to, you made the cut. Be proud of that. :lol: 5. Emeli Sande (3 - 5 - 7 - 23 - 38 - x - 25 - 19 - 8) [8wks] The power of TV eh? :lol: Prior to the X Factor performance, I'd not given this song much attention at all. Most of that comes down to Labrinth who has only released two singles I liked ('Last Time' and 'Express Yourself'). I still think he's a bit ropey as a live singer but in this case, he sounded good which is what counts. Emeli is flavour of the year so it's a pleasant surprise to see this heading for #1 on Sunday. 12. [6] Gangnam Style - PSY (24 - 22 - 13 - 11 - 16 - 20 - 10 - 1 - 4 - 7 - 6 - 12) [11wks] Oopan Gangnam Style. All great novelty songs lose their novelty eventually but I still enjoy watching the video. :lol: 19. I still adore this so much, such a beautiful silky smooth lush very Bond-esque single and Adele sounds fantastic, particular in the verses and that final chorus. Would really like to see this continue to climb up iTunes and become of one of those long stayers in the chart. 39. [31] Sweet Nothing - Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch (33 - 39 - x - 31 - 39) [4wks] I do like this but it just doesn't compare to 'Spectrum (Calvin Harris Remix)' at all for me. That was an extraordinary remix that took a good, but not great, album track and transformed it into something quite magical. This hasn't had that same impact on me - a bit like trying to recreate the magic of 'Spectrum' but not quite getting there.

The video is one of the best longer ones I've seen, particularly the parts that I've let adorn my sig. :wub: I really hope it can be a hit, I'm in love with Lana at the moment. 2. Same for me but with Miami 2 Ibiza. It's such a good club hit, and it gives me chills every time, wonderful final song. 3. I still think it's better than WFL (which fell faster from #1 for me) but it's probably due a fall soon. Yeah, what happened to that music video. 4. Indeed, thank you for the point, got me into the top 10 again! 5. Considering they are about the only X Factor offering I still care about, I hope so too, but I have no doubt it will be massive. Proving surprisingly tenacious in my chart as well. 8. I've loved it for months! The X Factor perf was a bonus as it is another great song in the latest great string of #1s (Sweet Nothing aside). Labrinth's back on form after I didn't particularly like any of his last 3 singles. 19. I'm going to see the film soon so that may boost it up, but there are so many good songs around at the moment something has to give. 21. It was really atmospheric, really surprised it didn't do better, one of your best for a while, considering I last gave you points on Studio Killers -which had similar quirky vocals. 38. I'm still getting into it so it may climb in future charts but it's a real surprise hit for me... 39. Don't You Worry Child is easily the best of those 3, but I do enjoy the others a lot still, I think SHM will have to settle for having a highest peaker at #2 for me though. Loreen makes amazing songs all the time! :D I loved the old version of MHIRM that has been around since 2011 but this updated version IMPROVES on it and so is automatically amazing. I'll have to disagree on Alicia, I thought her last era was the best (even ESOMII has aged well) but then I do like most of what she does. I do really like Girl On Fire but it'll probably only get 1 week top 10... BIG WOW FOR NUMBER 1 :) Great as always!
