A song by Alyona has appeared on iTunes today called 'Solayoh' and it actually called 'Solayoh (Eurovision Version)' on iTunes! The artwork also has the Belarus Eurovision logo on it too! :o There was a rumoured title called 'Soleo' as well, so could this be the new Belarus entry? It sounds really good anyway! :D

Brilliant moves to get a Latin inspired dance tune with some Slavic sounding instruments here and there in the Ballads R Us year and semifinal.

Belarus going 1st after a break should make people remember it too. Throw in the number of neighbors and at leas slightly friendly at times Balkan countries...

All in all, I can see it qualifying without much of a problem.

Neither songs are really up to much music wise, but at least Rhythm of Love was funky. This in comparison seems a little dull.

This is really good, yes. Not amazing but the best thing I've heard so far this year (admittedly I'm only NOW rooting through all the countries I'd ignored previously but still).

It's AMAZING. They're also apparently choosing from four songs today as their final decision; the aforementioned 'Rhythm of Love', 'Solayoh' and two others. They'd be mad not to choose 'Solayoh' now given the good reaction it's received and the massive shortening of their odds.

I agree, seems a few years too late. "Good" but far from being one of the best entries this year. Would be nice to see them back in the final though, Anastasia was ROBBED.

Belarus' odds have dropped to between 10/1 and 12/1 at most bookmakers since the song change putting Alyona 4th favourite out of the countries who have so far selected their entry! :o Only Denmark, Norway and Russia are ahead!

Finally heard this, very instant and catchy, like a strong Eurovision entry from the mid 00s when ethno-pop ruled! I'm not sure that it's enough to give them the top five hit that the bookies seem to be expecting but it'll definitely give them their best result since Work Your Magic (not that it's hard).

I have to say the change of song was wise. A catchy up-tempo ethno entry with the right performance will qualify Belarus and possibly get top 15 placing.
